Q: What is OpenGL Legacy? A: OpenGL Legacy was the graphics system ROBLOX first used, as seen in it's first ever trailer (made by YouTube user Shedletsky, which belongs to Telamon). These graphics were availible for a time this year, but were taken away. These graphics had sketchier bricks, red circle explosions, and decent textures.
Although OpenGL Legacy graphics aren't as great as ROBLOX's current graphics, they used less CPU, they made the game run a bit faster, and they bring back a feeling of nostalgia.
So why bring it back? To give our older users a treat and our newer users the knowledge of what playing back in 2006 would've been like!
I'm not saying that these graphics should replace our current graphics, but rather be selectable. Basically, you can choose between using current graphics and old graphics.
OpenGL Legacy had red circle explosions, but it didn't have round studs this year. So, if possible, round studs should be included ONLY in OpenGL Legacy graphics mode. This, however, is the choice of the Game Developers.
Good idea? Bad idea? Neutral? State your reasoning. |

@Roblox: Actually, it's more of re-doing an update, because the graphics were selectable at one point this year. Ah, well, I guess we're entitled to our own opinion.

I'm supporting this.
While I agree the graphics weren't as good in that version, it would be great for slower computers.

| I support. I have a slow computer, and no money for a new one. I would love being able to enjoy Roblox without getting frustrated because of lag all of the time. |

| Read WNTS. Don't suggest to undo an update. |

| @Crunchity: It WAS un update, but it was removed. So techinically, it's re-doing an update. Loophole? |

| No. Removing something counts as an update, no matter what. You're suggesting to undo said update, so I can report you. |

@papey,
Either way, it's undoing an update. Don't suggest to undo an update. |

| @Gellick: I posted that, but apparently, it still counts as undoing an update. |

| I believe myself, and other 07ers, would agree. SUPPORT. Also, if they do support OpenGL again, they can actually work to make a native LInux variant. |

| If circle studs were available, Roblox could get sued by lego again |
