Lots of good unique builds, go see for yourself at
http://www.roblox.com/User.aspx?ID=7936
You can use rafts or boats on the river and ride them downstream, the river pushes you along. Falling in the water kills you. There are lots of hiding places across the map, and it could be used for battles.
The main reason Im telling everyone about it now is that im stumped for ideas. I could add another building like the mushroom, maybe a fort/tree/plant, but I dont have any good ideas for this. All ideas welcomed (not all will be used)
Thanks, mike |

Miked - your place is awesome. Please let us know what things you would like to see in the product to support your "power building" :-)

Very nice scripts. I have a question. Did you make those yourself?

Awesome place Mike!
I know it's intentional but maybe you could not make the whole river deadly. Apart from the peice at the bottom of the waterfall, I don't understand logic behind it.
My idea is that you make the water safe accept for the bottom of the waterfall. Even better (if it works) Make all the water "safe" and add some deadly jagged rocks at the bottom waterfall.

| I was playing your map over the weekend and I thought it was beautiful. I would be interested in hearing your feedback with regards to Roblox Studio - what was easy, what was harder that it needed to be, and how we can improve it for the future. |

Thanks for feedback everyone
For those interested in how the river was made, some clever people have figured out already that it was not a script but a property all bricks have. Its the Velocity one, try fiddling around with it.
I like the river killing at the top, it means you must use boats, otherwise many would just walk on the river, and it would lose the fun from making boats/destroying boats/interboat fighting.
Roblox studio is a good tool because it is so easy to learn and use. I only had one problem with it, but it was a problem I ran into a lot of times. Getting bricks touching is very hard, so i had to use the strech tool instead of the orange move-along-axis one. This would not be a problem if you make it so that a brick with "can collide" turned off can be moved with the moving tool into other bricks. At the moment when cancollide is switched off moving the brick is no different to when cancollide is on. Turning off, moving, then turning back on will allow you to fill up the small holes you get in complicated builds (My mushroom house has tonnes of these)
Im not sure how easy to implement that is, but it would be handy. |

| Why? I like old threads. I like to know the past of ROBLOX since I haven't been around long. |
