This sector is ruled by a council, each council member with their respective areas of control. You, Trish Sandres, have heard that an explorer ship is headed back to earth in an attempt to see if the aliens have left earth, and if our home planet is still habitable.
Dominant Corporations: Amuzgar Circle (Programming)(Medium-large influence), Bazargan Organization (Biotech)(Medium influence), Blanco Organization (Exploration)(Very large influence), Carlisle Combine (Fuel Refining)(Medium influence)
Aliens: Aradan (Insectile), Abhoa (Avian)
Primary Religions: New Book Judaism, Neofundamentalist Taoists
Total sector population: 32 Billion
Overall sector tech(scale 1-5): 4
Starting area: City on Avarigan(Thaleia system), in an apartment that you rented for 1 day, readying up to head on over to the recruiting office for the exploration ship.
Your equipment/ownerships: Black backpack with a wallet, a handgun with 1 spare clip. Also a pocket knife in one pocket.
Now go out, and reign free! |

(Are the aliens hostage?) I walk to the recruiting office and enter. |

(If you mean hostages, then no. Some of them are on the council. And if you mean hostile, then also no, again, for the same reasons as before.)
Your walk to the recruiting office is somewhat surreal, because you won't be seeing anywhere in this sector again for the next 6 months, at the least. Earth is very far away, since the alien forces were rampaging about, destroying everything in sight. |

| You aren't going to join yet, they require an interview before you can get on the ship. You head over into the interview room. |

| I examine the details of the room then the interviewer. "Hello." I say gracefully. I take a seat accross from the chair he's sitting in. |

| The room has two doors, the one you just entered by, and the other one, presumably for staff. Other than that, the room is blank except for the desk you are currently sitting in. The interviewer passes a paper and pencil over to you. The paper is apparently a test. |

| I take the pencil and tap my lip with it while examining question one. |

| Most of the test looks pretty easy, questions about what you've done, how you heard about this, why you think it's a good idea to go on the scout ship, etc. |

| I answer all the questions with effort then turn in the interview test. |

| You turn in the test, and the interviewer looks it over. With a simple "Approved" he waves you off, apparently ready to take the next person. |

(Shoo children, shoo! Off of my ISRP!) So much excitement fills me on the inside. I stand up and walk out of the room. I can't believe I was accepted. Should I stay until we go or will we launch another day? |

| It may take up to a week, but with so many applicants they could launch today or tomorrow. If you like, you can head on over and look at the ship you will be taking. |

| You walk around, nothing much to do. Maybe it's the excitement, maybe it's that your old life seems boring, but stuff that might have amazed you before now seems dull and uninteresting. |
