Well, first off, anyone every play BeamNG? Look it up, it is a game that has amazing car physics, and the cars break, crash, and get crushed properly unlike most games (That use a default dent thing when you hit something, lol)
Anyone ever attempted, scripting a vehicle with many parts, so when it hits something with force, it sorta pushes back or "crushes" the car like in BeamNG, or other driving games? I'm sure this would be very laggy, and more than two cars would probably explode some computers, but I think this would be a very interesting thing to attempt.
No idea how to do this. Not a scripter; just thought I could share this interesting idea with all you Lua programmers out there!
So.. yeah. >Add car with many blocks >make script titled "Crash-Physics" >??? >Coding >??? >Release game >>Profit!
This would probably be a time consumer alright! |

Sounds useless since ROBLOX obviously isn't very good with their own physics
Oh, and, reported for spam. |

This is a suggestion for scripters, in a board for scripting discussions, and is an interesting thing.
Reporting me would be the most stupid thing in the world, why don't I report your post for spam? if anything it is more spam than mine omfg e.e
Useless? The whole front page of ROBLOX games are useless. Useless, but fun and difficult task, and fun to use. What the heck is your logic??? . - . |

And you just proved major intelligence by complaining about his signature.

Remember the time when people thought about BreakJoints with selective models? Whatever happened to that? |

The reported for spam thing was his signature? Well, excuse me, I just assumed he was some extremely stupid person with a grudge against everyone. Hard to tell if it's something like that, that doesn't seem like it'd be a signature and not designated with ~ or -, but ok.. my apologies. |

| I hate that signatures, and signatures in general, I think having a stupid signature like that displays less intelligence than someone getting tricked by it. Obviously it didn't trick me because I've seen it before (and critical thinking allows me to determine for myself that it's just to troll), but with the excessive amount of "OMG DIS TOPIC IS SPAM" specifically in this forum, it's too realistic. It's just immature. |

It's a signature, It's just there because I want it there. I'm not a troll, I don't draw attention to it or anything. If someone is stupid enough to think I reported them right before an intelligent response it's their fault

If you're going to have a signature add a squiggly, squiggles make everything better.... Though you don't really need that silly signature, I don't either, but mine resulted from a fun bit of js that I'm not ready to discard. :p

| Eh, i don't want to just leave this thread in a reply to an unrelated argument... It'd be cool to apply something like this to vehicles, but then i started writing out an explanation of what would needed to be done and it was getting a little long... and complicated. Nothing I want to work out and doing it on roblox is something i probably won't see. At least not to the extent of BeamNG. |
