As of August 11, 2013, Urban Assault Forces is on the fourth page of largest clans on Roblox as opposed to the front page of clans and rising back in 2010, and is slowly but surely continually dwindling in rankings for member count. As one who genuinely cares about UAF more than any of the clans I'm currently in, it's absolutely heartbreaking to see it dwindle down not only in quality but also in quality and any other factors a clan can either excel or decline in failure.
Unsurprisingly, a lot of people continue to wonder why I have such a large and ever-expanding vendetta for the current hierarchy and motif of UAF and regularly spur insulting misconceptions at me whenever commenting about this once-great clan. I'm sitting down, writing this thread because I want to deliver a message to anyone, including the members of this clan, anyone who has come to this thread via my profile page, or any C&Ger reading this thread right now.
To answer your questions in the most simplistic and effective ways I can think of, I'll ask you some rhetorical questions: what about present-day UAF is special that isn't in any other clan? What has present-day UAF done since Infinitive-era UAF? I'll ask these similar questions but instead with Infinitive's UAF: What in UAF was special that wasn't in any other clan? The tech was the best, the uniforms were simplistic yet amazing, the places were fun raiding and defending, and the general skill of the clan was better than any other clan while being large in numbers as well.
Before bloxman came into complete power in the form of a dictatorship, I've stressed that the clan was barely limping along - the clan had no identity whatsoever and their visions for the clan were those that were completely contrary to the very intended principles the clan was founded upon. Although they are, thankfully, evolving the clan to give a more urban feel to it, they have still ignored some very important key factors a clan needs to retain some identity. Look at the logo for UAF -- would you believe me if I told you it was meant to be in the shape of a bird? The original shape was actually fitting when Infinitive designed it during the creation of UAF, but ever since Benblue9 got the clan, he fattened the logo and added some cringeworthy bright colors.
Since I'm rambling right now, I'll wrap it up: Ever since Benblue9 got the clan, it has gone nowhere. During the last three years, UAF went from 15000 members to 23000 members, while clans like Vortex Security didn't even exist back then. Guess what? My ultimate goal on Roblox is to grow Haze Corporation to boom with members, to train those members, and to become an unstoppable force. And I'm pretty confident that I can do it. Just earlier today I finished scripting my guns, and the fort is undergoing some rapid progress. I have plans to make the game fun; I helped RAT Fort Borealis to hit the front page and I did some studying to find out how it got there, and I know my fields.
But here's the major part of this whole deal: If Urban Assault Forces manages to do this before I get to do so and actually start running their clan the right way, I'll give up with the Haze project. Period.

I agree with some of this UAF has no identity and our ideas are unoriginal but bloxman is not a dictator, ffs we have a judicial branch and like 70234532049 forum posts about laws that the hrs and lr have to respect |

| I shouldn't really talk though, considering I wouldn't even know what to do to fix things if I got the group. |

I've been in UAF since infinitive's era, UAF was on the first page of games; defending their recruitment center. I decided to join, and loved it. There wasn't much special about UAF then, just it was always busy with SOMETHING. If there was downtime, UAF would be getting raided, you could defend. Trainings were normal, and fun. I don't really remember much about raiding, but I know that UAF hasn't been growing in numbers as much as other clans, but their skill level has remained great, winning a war against a clan almost 3x bigger than them by like 26-3 or something.
Now, I agree, Blox is inactive in my opinion, I understand that with leading you will have loads of PMs and other things to do, but I haven't seen blox shout once since he's been the commander. Also, UAF has started to get inactive. Very rarely am I ever defending the forts, because UAF has picked some terrible enemies that don't and can't compete. I think at times of Ben and infinitive, where Vaktovians, or even random people would be raiding our forts constantly. I would only wish that something like that would happen again. Personally, I feel we get a really nice base done, like what happened at the end of ben's era. Hire somebody to build a fort, it doesn't matter if it's like 20k R$, we all know that that's affordable for UAF. |

@Fireman
I don't mean to reiterate what Diggy has already said, but that's only because we declare war on enemies that can't compete. I shan't blame Blox or the high ranks for this, however. It is the fault of the people (including myself). |

not defending means our enemies are inactive chances are if they won't flood a server to get minimal defenders they wont come when we're patrolling servers evenly |

Platinum, UAF is a dictatorship. The legal system is biased and incompetent - I've seen the results of the system and have heard complaints from people I know are reliable who attended. Also, about the laws: they're rarely followed and often abused by HRs to further infighting.
It's a wonder UAF still exists, but most members are too awed by the supposed "democracy" and "people's state" they participate in to change the fact that it's neither of those things.
UAF needs change, badly. |
