Recently my friend linked me to a forum thread explaining how to turn off mouse acceleration in windows.
I did it, it felt a bit weird at first, but I upped my DPI by 200 and now it feels normal. I just did an RCL duel and it felt more accurate than before. Anyone else tried this? What were your experiences? |

Let me change the title to suit your needs.
This is general gunfighting as well, although mostly only RCL pros bother with this kind of stuff. |

| You have to edit a registry file but there is a program for it. I will try to find it. |

| wow, we've gone past interpolation, fps throttle, and now we're learning even more ways to get an advantage over others, this is why i started to dislike rcl'ing. |

iKeno.
The people that have proper gaming gear don't need windows to alter their mouse movement. We want full 1-1 controll. |

I have a HP computer and a broken Logitech mouse.
Does that count for gaming gear???

I tried it out (because yolo) and it's incredibly annoying and for me has no noticeable benefit.
I'll be changing it back now. |

The benefit is increased precision.
Although it takes 1-2 days to adapt properly. |

| mouse acceleration is actually a pretty big deal bobosaid, it makes the difference in close range by a lot, being able to have a faster mouse speed makes it so you can adjust faster when the person is jumping around you, but if you have a slow mouse speed like mine, you can't adjust very fast and the person can do more damage on you due to the mouse speed differentiation, making this speed enhancer more beneficent, of course you have to take time to adapt to it, so a couple days at most for it to be good. |
