So whenever i go to do anything in Sony Vegas, the monitor will flicker to black then re-appear with the message that the display drivers had stopped working and have recovered, along with Sony Vegas not responding.
Its when i go to do anything, not just rendering, even previewing. Does anybody know why?
Im using an XFX R7870, with the latest drivers installed.
(PS. I have googled, im just wondering if anybody here would know why) |

| I would of suggest updating but you might need to get a new graphics card. |

| Is your computer overheating, or have you restarted your computer? |

@IMA Its cool, GPU is at 46 celcius, its been doing it for a couple of days now where the computer has been turned on and off multiple times.
Im rendering a video right now and it hasn't crashed yet, im crossing my fingers. |

| As the error message says, sounds like a graphics driver. Report the problem on an official forum (why you felt the need to post here is beyond me) and make sure your version of vegas is the latest. If there's nothing to update then I guess you will have to wait for the graphics driver or the program to be updated. |

@Sama I posted in various places, just to see if anybody knows why.
Anyway after a couple of crashes it seems to be fine now, although i had to re-render a video because i chose the wrong settings. |
