| Catholic school is much better than public school, there is no bullying and learning is more of a priority. I think you should appreciate it more. |

Lol, what nice parents.
Making their child go to Catholic school because their religious, you're basically following in their footsteps. |

@xLMC;
I don't see anything wrong there at all. It's like you believing in *bleep* (your primary group) and then you preach to your kids about it, and blah blah blah and then they become Sa...ists too. |

@Josh;
I go to a Quaker private school, and nothing is wrong at all here. Obviously you guys don't have amazing Catholic schools in your city. A lot of my Jewish friends were baptized just to get into one of NYC's most elite Catholic school. |

It depends on the school not if the school is catholic or not. |

I know, I was just going to point that out. It's weird that I'm saying these things, but I personally like Catholic schools a lot, like public schools many are good and many are bad. Public education is the worst though, it's an abomination. |

@Tax
That's the thing mate, my child can follow whichever religion he or she wants too, I'm not going make him or her do anything they don't want too.
If they ask what I believe in, I will tell them, but doesn't nessisarily mean they have too.
It's all about choice, the exact same choice my parents gave me. |

@Tie;
Yes, but many public schools fail horribly because they rely on funding from the state, and with private schools everything comes from funding, tuition, donations, and from private foundations. |

We all have our own individuality, therefor, we all have our own choices.
Nothing should be forced on anyone. |

@xLMC;
Sending a kid to a faith-based school doesn't make the parent "forcing the kid to be part of that belief". It's the kids option on what he wants to believe in, and only his choice. Sure going to a faith-based school is enticing for a little kid, but when they grow older they start to question everything and realize a lot of it isn't true. Regardless, it's the education which I think is excellent in many Catholic schools. |

> I'm not my parents are though.
So he's basically implying he isn't religious and is going there because his parents are religious.
That says it all. |
