Special Operations - Strike force is a modern war roleplay centering on an unnamed strike force, tasked with stopping terrorism across the globe. I hope this will go on for weeks, and get to be dozens of pages long, because that's what I'm planning for. In this roleplay, the characters go on several different types of missions, each kind of mission with it's own goal or objective.

Rules:

First of all, no godmod or perfect characters, regular RP rules, regular roblox rules, etc.

If you die, you can make a new character and come along on the next mission. Dead players can also provide comments(but no helping the alive characters!) on the battle.

This is a special operations strike force. It should reflect in your bio how you got into it.

Shots to the head will usually kill, sometimes cripple or seriously injure. No arguing with death.

Just because it isn't in the rules doesn't mean it's allowed.

I can elect admins as needed.

All soldiers get 1000 monetary points, except for the Sergeant who gets 1250.

Put "Honors" in other if you have read and acknowledge these rules.

Soldier classes: The makeup of the team, each soldier class has different strengths and weaknesses.

Trooper: Balanced and mobile soldier. Can use almost any weapon, but other than that this is the baseline. Automatically has 1 frag grenade. Unlimited per mission.

Demolitions expert: Equipped with more grenades, a mine which is remotely detonated or set to a proximity sensor, and a C4 pack, Demolitions experts provide all your explosive needs. Automatically has 3 frag grenades, 1 remote or proximity mine, and 1 C4 pack, can use bomb vests cheaper, and gets an automatic 5 to Demolitions expertise. 1 per mission.

Sniper: Snipers excel in long range, and because they don't have good medium range weapons they can get cheaper sidearms, as well as cheaper sniper rifles. No grenades however. Can use sniper rifles and sidearms cheaper. Light armor use only. 1 per mission.

Medic: Same as the Trooper, but with less weapons training and more medical training. Automatically has 1 frag grenade, 1 medical kit, and gets an automatic 5 to medical training skill stat. 2 per mission.

Assaulter: Fast, close, and personal. Assaulters get a damage bonus to shotguns and melee, and can use shotguns cheaper. Automatically has 1 frag grenade, does +2 damage with melee and +1 damage with shotguns. 1 per mission.

Machine-gunner: Machine gunners carry the heavy weapons, using LMGs to mow down enemy after enemy. Automatically has 1 frag grenade, can use cheaper LMGs, speed is reduced by 2. 2 per mission.

Sergeant: There can only be one sergeant per mission! The sergeant has authority over the other soldiers, and is the only character rank that can partially control friendly NPCs. Other characters should obey the Sergeant as well, but the choice is ultimately up to them. The Sergeant also has 1250 monetary points to spend instead of the usual 1000. Automatically has 2 frag grenades.

Equipment: All soldiers need equipment, without it they wouldn't even be soldiers.

Armor: Sometimes bulletproof armor is just what a soldier needs to keep going.

Light armor:

Camo mesh: Free, 0 protection and 2 stealth.
Vest: Free, 1 protection and 1 stealth.
Ghillie suit: 200 monetary points, 1 protection and 3 stealth.
Chameleon suit: 1 protection and 4 stealth, gives ability to blend in with chosen surroundings. Please choose camo color if you pick this.

Medium armor:

Assault vest: 100 monetary points. 4 protection and 0 stealth
Assault vest w/ grapple: 250 monetary points, 3 protection and 1 stealth, gives grapple hook.
Streamlined attack vest: 250 monetary points, 3 protection and 0 stealth, gives +1 speed.
Bomb vest: 400 monetary points(200 for Demolitions), 3 protection and 0 stealth, gives explosive resistance.

Heavy armor:

Heavy assault vest: 200 monetary points, 4 protection and 0 stealth.
Clip vest: 300 monetary points, 4 protection and 0 stealth, gives a bonus to number of clips, -3 speed.
Flame suit w/ flamethrower and fuel tanks: 400 monetary points, 3 protection and 0 stealth, -1 speed, gives extra flamethrower sidearm. WARNING, if the fuel tanks are hit they may explode.
Kevlar suit: 450 monetary points, 7 protection and -2 stealth, -4 speed.

Weapons:

Assault rifles: The most common weapon type, all soldier classes can use assault rifles.

M4A1: Free, does 2 damage, automatic, uses medium rounds, easy customization.
AK47: Free, does 3 damage, automatic, uses medium rounds, jams often.
OTs-14 Groza: 150 monetary points, does 4 damage, automatic, uses medium rounds, easily unjammed.
AN-94: 400 monetary points, does 5 damage, two shot burst, uses medium rounds, armor piercing.

SMGs: Sub-machine-guns, these are compact, often automatic, and most will take pistol rounds. All classes can use SMGs.

MP5: Free, does 2 damage, automatic, uses pistol rounds, easy customization.
PP-19 Bizon: 200 monetary points, does 3 damage, automatic, uses pistol rounds, more damage at close range.
Steyr AUG: 250 monetary points, does 4 damage, automatic, uses medium rounds, large clip.
FN P90: 450 monetary points, does 5 damage, automatic, uses pistol rounds(choose one special if you select this to use: Easy customization, armor piercing, or fast reload.)

LMGs: The heaviest weapons on the battlefield, but they have very high ammo capacity, are always automatic, and will sometimes use large rounds. All LMGs reduce speed by 2. Only Troopers and Machine gunners can use these.

M249 LMG: 150 monetary points(free for Machine gunner), does 3 damage, automatic, uses medium rounds, easy to use.
Minimi: 250 monetary points(100 for Machine gunner), does 4 damage, automatic, uses medium rounds, faster fire rate.
Ares Shrike: 350 monetary points(200 for Machine gunner), does 5 damage, automatic, uses medium rounds, larger ammo capacity.
M60 MG: 600 monetary points(400 for Machine gunner), does 7 damage, automatic, uses large rounds

Sniper rifles: Long range, usually has scope, and does some good damage, though near useless at close ranges, and has a slow rate of fire.

Dragunov sniper rifle: 150 monetary points(Free for Snipers), semi-automatic, uses medium rounds, easy to use.
XM2010 Enhanced Sniper Rifle: 400 monetary points(250 for Snipers), semi-automatic, uses medium rounds, night scope.
Barrett XM500: 650 monetary points(500 for Snipers), does 7 damage, semi automatic, uses large rounds, anti-material rifle.

Shotguns: Up close and personal, high damage, and a few automatic, shotguns are only limited by their ammo capacity, short range, and fire rates.

SPAS-12: 150 monetary points(50 for Assaulter), does 4 damage, semi-automatic, uses medium rounds, compact.
Mossberg 500: 300 monetary points(200 for Assaulter), does 5 damage, semi-automatic, uses large rounds. Makes a loud bang.
Benelli M4: 450 monetary points(350 for Assaulter), does 6 damage, semi-automatic, uses medium rounds, sturdy.
AA-12: 550 monetary points(450 for Assaulter), does 6 damage, automatic, uses medium rounds, large ammo capacity.

Sidearms: In some situations it can be almost essential to have a sidearm. If you are trapped and run out of ammo for your primary, a sidearm just might save you from certain death.

Combat knife: Free, does 3 damage, melee.
Glock 18(pistol): Free, does 2 damage, automatic, uses pistol rounds.
Px4 Storm SD(pistol): 100 monetary points(free for Sniper), does 3 damage, semi-automatic, uses pistol rounds, easy maintenance.
Glock 39(pistol): 200 monetary points(100 for Sniper), does 4 damage, semi-automatic, uses pistol rounds.
SDASS Tactical(shotgun): 350 monetary points(250 for Assaulter), does 6 damage, semi-automatic, uses medium rounds, light.
Desert Eagle(pistol): 350 monetary points(250 for Sniper), does 5 damage, semi-automatic, uses medium rounds.
Advanced Combat Knife: 450 monetary points(400 for Assaulter), does 7 damage, melee.

Misc. gear: Miscellaneous gear items for all your miscellaneous needs.

Radio: free(heavily advised to have a radio!) Allows talking to other team members with a radio, and calling for NPC backup/evacuation.

Extra frag grenades: 100 monetary points, +2 frag grenades.

Medical kit: 100 monetary points, +1 medical kit.

Extra knife: 200 monetary points, get an extra secondary combat knife.

Scope: 150 monetary points, get a scope for your primary weapon, +2 aim.

EMP grenade: 200 monetary points, get +1 EMP grenade, a special grenade with a wide blast radius for taking out electronics.

C4 charge: 250 monetary points, get +1 C4 charge.

Assault gear: 250 monetary points, you are well equipped. +3 protection, +1 stealth.

Stealth gear: 150 monetary points, you are well equipped for stealth. +2 stealth.

Protection gear: 150 monetary points, you are well armored. +2 protection.

Handguard: 100 monetary points, +1 aim.

Suppressor: 150 monetary points, attachment for primary or secondary weapon(please specify if your primary or secondary weapon gets this), weapon fire doesn't alert enemies to your location.

Extended mags: 150 monetary points, attachment for primary weapon, increase ammo capacity(Not compatible with shotguns)

Laser dot(For sniper rifles or pistols): 150 monetary points, get a laser dot so you know exactly where you are shooting. +2 aim, -1 stealth.

Armor piercing rounds: 250 monetary points, switch out regular ammunition for AP ammo. (please specify if your primary or secondary weapon gets this.)

Traits: Special traits for characters, pick one and only one! For some fun you could also try to blend your trait with your biography, and for some with your personality as well.

Survivability: You have survived countless battles and injuries, and have +1 health points. 3 per mission.

Weapons expert: You know all weapons around you, and can identify ammo even if it is in an unfamiliar case. You can use any weapon enemies or allies drop, and you will know if a ammo cartridge is right for any weapons you carry. 1 per mission.

Technician: Having some technical training, you can more easily scavenge computer hardware and get into hostile databases easier. 1 per mission

Right Hand Man: Extra trait, can only be given by the Sergeant of a mission. 1 per mission.

Well armed: You get +2 strength due to your very well... arms...(I'm horrible at making jokes...) 2 per mission.

Recon: You were a reconnaissance trooper before joining the strike force, +2 speed, +1 stealth. 2 per mission.

Hardened: You have seen a lot of death and pain. It's harder for you to lose will, and you lose less when you do. 1 per mission.

Notes before making your CS:

For the purposes of this roleplay, every 3 points of protection equals 1 extra health point, and every 2 points of stealth(in gear) equals 1 bonus to stealth skill, and every 2 points of speed equals 1 movement point, while every 2 points of Medical treatment gives you the ability to heal 1 health point with a medical kit, and every 3 points of strength gives you +1 damage bonus with melee weapons, and every 2 points of aim(gear) gives 1 bonus to aim(skill)

Don't put in rank, all soldiers are Specialists, except the Sergeant, and the Right Hand Man, who is a Corporal.

All soldiers have a small switchblade in a side pocket. However, that switchblade gains no bonus damage except from strength bonuses.

Anything in your bio, personality, and physical build may affect your skills. For example, a keen eye might give you a bonus to aim, while strong arm muscles give you a bonus to strength, strong leg muscles give a bonus to speed, etc, etc.

Medical kits are reusable! Medical kits have a limited amount of supply, but unless your character is busy patching up several major injuries they probably won't run out for a while.

Luck plays a very small part in this! Luck is helping you out if you are dashing from cover to cover and not getting hit, or manage to climb a structure you otherwise would not have been able to, etc. But still, luck doesn't help much. Luck and Reflex work together very closely, and if you want to invest in Luck you may as well invest in Reflex also.

Will is one of the most important skill stats to have. Every time your character is injured, see another character killed(NPCs don't give as high a chance to lose will and won't lose as much will as if another character died), or when pinned down in a hopeless situation, you will lose some Will. If your Will drops to 0, you will lose control of your character, who will act randomly. They may kill themselves to avoid revealing anything to the enemy, they may go into a rage and save the rest of the team, they may try and call for evac before it's time, they may just run away. However, if your character survives to the next mission even if they did lose their will, you will be able to play them again with full will.

Reflexes are how fast your character can react. Diving behind cover, looking up over cover, and ducking after firing or throwing a grenade are all influenced by this.

It's not a good idea to try spending all 35 of your skill/stat points evenly among all 9 of the skills. If you do that, your character will end up less-than-average in every skill.

On the contrary, I did more research than your probably have on this. If you're talking about the armors, classes, or traits, then I'll say imagination has no bounds. If you are talking about the weapons, each and every one is real, and if it's not exact, then it's very close.

If you want to keep attacking me and what I make, I'll see what the moderators have to say about it.

Alpha, here are my responses:

1: The Steyr AUG may be classified as an SMG, an assault rifle, or a LMG. I have chosen to balance it.

2: The differences between the two are notable enough that they may be used separately, and there are differences in manufacturing price and availability.

3: If you are attempting to say "best weapon in this thread", then you are right, and this is why it is priced high. I also have limited it to only one of three possibly specials.

4: For this I am using generic rounds so as not to confuse anybody.

5: Yes, you can. But what difference does it make when somebody sees that laser pointer?

As for Mr. Z0rr0w, you may refer to some of my other threads for futuristic things. I am going to trust you have seen Freelancer and Our worst nightmare, and possibly Virtual war.

Roblox is messing with the CS I think... normally this doesn't happen, it's really weird. It probably blocked your RP age, I think you can fill out everything, and put a dot or something in the age.

Alpha, I am undecided as to whether you should be accepted. You were, after all, attacking this thread. But I am not one to hold a grudge, and while I would prefer a little more work on the bio, I'm just gonna move some stuff around: Primary weapon: MP5 Silenced - 150 Secondary weapon: Combat knife; And I I do believe you are good enough. But you don't have to use primary weapon all the time, and you don't even have to use the combat knife.
