scratch.mit.edu is an open source, easy to use, drag and drop scripting engine and I thought of having a LUA scratch engine for people who don't know how to use LUA scripting engine. Then it would be much easier for younger kids to script without using normal text scripting. Also a website.
So scripting would be easier (For newbies who don't know how to script) |

No support.
If someone wishes to script, then there's plenty of material out there that can help them learn. Ninety percent of the time, people will be lazy and rely on the simplest & easiest methods of doing something, so they don't have to learn. I'd also like to point out this is also an 'educational' site (Building, scripting, currency, etc), so having a drag and drop scripting method, defeats part of it.
Also it's "Lua" not "LUA". It's not an acronym. |

What do you mean "No Support".
OK, its Lua.
Would you expect a child to learn how to script at a very young age? This Site Is Full Of Every Age Or Maybe Not. |

"What do you mean 'No Support'."
I mean, no support to the idea of the incorporation of Scratch. It's a simplistic drag and drop, and doesn't teach individuals anything, and individuals would likely resort to it because it's "so much easier". And yes, I would. At a young age a child's mind is much more absorbent of facts, making it easy to learn other languages, etc. |

Desperian is correct on so many levels. This thread is pointless.

Yes, it's Lua, not "LUA" because it's not an acronym.

Would you expect a child to learn to script, if they aren't actually scripting? |

| I think we should kill murderers because they killed people and so we need more than just a prison to teach murderers a lesson. We need to harshly kill them so bad that we leave the remaining body fluids and flesh on the ground. We need murderers to not exist and we need to kill all of them |
