i can get it with T games, they're never usually that bad, but so many kids play M games it's not even funny
last year i went over my friend's house, and he forced me to play halo with him
only two times i enjoy it is A: being with a different friend and having super speed, high jump, etc or B: when im with 2 other friends and we do the mode when you get in the car down the ramp, teleporting from the bottom back to the top, and other people try to hit it
and seriously, last year in school, probably everyone was talking about CoD

I can't play M games unless my dad gives me permission. My parents are alright with T rated games though.

i don't see the harm in it if the child can handle the violence/language/etc.

well, whatever. im just saying i dont understand why parents ignore the ESRB. my bro for christmas last year (he's 14) got a GTA game, he played it once, the computer room in my house is next to the living room, pretty much all i heard was swears

The other week I bought doom 3 (Rated A for 18+)
I can get games like that as long as there isn't lots of cuss words. |

mine don't care as long as i don't start swearing, but most of the kids on cod swear loudly and constantly, so i'm guessing those parents don't care one way or the other

GTA is a game where you can drive, steal stuff, kill people, interact with other people and other stuff. To sum it up, the city is your sandbox in the game.

i know the driving and kill people part
i thought it had a plot, not a city sandbox. sounds kind of fun.
maybe i'll try it when im older

It has a plot, but there is free roam mode you get a bit early in the game.
