theyre not.
think about it, before nirvana all their was was rubbish hair metal bands,w/ the exception of the cure and the pixies, but then when nirvana got big, we had bands like babes in toyland, hole, sonic youth coming into the mainstream and eventually most of hair metal and stuff just died. and then bands like placebo and oasis and stuff came after.
it was good. and people felt they could relate to nirvanas lyrics, and the anger really related to people, so... |
