ok...
The bear swims out to see, seeing your g_f';, it charges towards her and methodically mauls her and eats her neck
you hear her screams off in the distance slowly die down and the bear swim back to shore towards your direction
what do? |

I will quickly dig an 12ft deep hole as a trap and use fish guts i found near the sea as bait for the trap.

ok...
The trap you built was not wide enough for the entire bear to fit into, so his front half is still showing and he has you in a bear hug

| It's called cut her wrist, and run. It increases your distance as you both run, and she slowly grows distance, a good distance where the bear gets her and leaves you. Preferably run up a steep hill, as bears are faster on flat or going down hill, and the effort would tire your girlfriend. |

youlook around and make out a piece of driftwood about the size of your arm, and a hill nearby with a path leading to the dock about 1 mile away the tide is rising and will soon fill the water in the hole high enough for the bear to climb out
