@tahu
If you think the description is bad, you should see the last three episodes.
Seriously, when I saw it, I nearly threw my phone across the room in shock.

| there's nothing wrong with oreimo and if you're so against the final 3 episodes you've just stated how close-minded you are |

I have a younger brother and sister and I enjoyed the show to an extreme.
If you say it is sick, I should probably inform you that many of your ancestors were probably related and are a part of the reason you exist.
You'd have to have some pretty strict self righteous morals to think this show is disgusting, as only a very small portion of the show actually portrays the relationship that makes you so sick.
And unfortunately, it didn't even last. Some people just like to complain I suppose. |

@Sonicjr
I actually liked the show until the last three episodes. And I don't think it's disgusting, I just think its wrong. |

You aren't making very much sense, for your definition of the last three episodes doesn't differ from thinking that it's disgusting.
You watched Oreimo knowing this day would come, and if you didn't then I will have to question your intelligence. |

| Furthermore, the ancestors argument can also be applied to Boku no Pico, but that doesn't stop it from being wrong. |

I'm not disgusted, not in the way I would be with something like Kissxsis, but I am still outraged at the ending, I thought they might actually do something different. |

What is wrong about Boku no Pico that you are referring to? A man can't reproduce. Nor can a child. Two different situations due to a child being unaware of the situation and unable to make certain decisions , being the reason it is illegal.
What would you have done, then? What was so bad about the ending if it is not the brother-sister romance? |

| How about the fact that our main character forsakes his closest friends? |

How did he forsake them? Saying no to going out with a girl isn't forsaking her. Just because he chose Kirino he abandoned his childhood friend? No, the girl, who's name I cannot recall at the minute, is the one who conceived it that way. To her, either Kyousuke were to be with her or else he forsook her. As a matter of fact, she didn't even really think that either. We aren't shown much of an aftermath.
But I suppose you would suggest he abandon Kirino after confessing and proposing to her, correct? |

Also, isn't it the other way around?
Because Kyousuke rejected them, they forsook him. At least, Ayase and the glasses girl (Nanami or something? If not it's because I'm watching Sakurasou) did, and the idol girl actually had something to do with herself anyways, and took it in a positive manner. |

apparently according to phoniex there must be only one romantic interest in a series and anything other than the most pure form of vanilla is sick
and honestly how did you watch/read this without expecting the ending...? it obviously identified as an incest story for a very long time... |

It certainly did.
As for why I called the description sickening: like I said, I have a younger sister. I also hate her with a passion - no sarcasm or exaggeration here whatsoever - and the thought of being in the position portrayed in Oreimo is incredibly undesirable to me.
That said, if I didn't hate her, I would probably enjoy Oreimo quite a bit. |

Because I read the description of the series?
Why did Tsukasa Fushimi imagine such a situation? |
