It seems this is a Laptop, but there are far better laptops depending on the price,
Surprisingly, at Best buy the HP Pavilion 15.6" for $379.99 is good. It has a 4 core processor, with dedicated graphics.

Assuming I'm looking at the same one as you, it does not have discrete graphics, only "discrete-class graphics" (7640G) Also the A8 4500M is a llano part, it might have 4 cores but they are pretty weak by current standards. |

Almost all laptops now have i3 or i5 with decent graphics and 750gb-1tb HD for only like 300-500 |

| I wasn't talking about the processors used in them, I was talking about general desing aesthetics, build quality and bundled bloatware. If your mum's HP can play roblox fine then that has nothing to do with something HP made. |

| its better to get a small form factor desktop then be forced to deal with the high mark up related with "gamign" laptops. gaming laptops last 2 years, are slower than PCs dollar for dollar, and have poor battery life |
