I have this script already in a normal script:
script.Parent.MouseButton1Down:connect(function(player) local name = script.Parent.Parent.Parent.Parent.Parent script.Parent.Parent.Parent.Parent.Parent:SaveInstance("r", script.Parent.Parent.Parent.Parent.Parent.PlayerGui["Quest GUI"]) script.Parent.Parent.Parent.Parent.Parent:SaveNumber("Leaderstats", name.leaderstats.Money.Value) end)
My problem is I want to save what's in the player's camera which means I need to use a local script, but data persistence doesn't work in local scripts, so I'm a bit confused about what I should do. Cold I have some help please? |

| Sir, you could store your parts in a message in your character(makes them local, only you can see them), then parent the message to lighting when you die, then when you respawn parent it back c; |

| @MainDirectory I think he also wants that when the player leaves, and comes back they'll have there parts. |

| I would create Values, store them in the player, and make them equal to the certain values in the camera, so that later you can access them. |

| Although, I can still not figure out why you would even want to do this. |

On my game there are quests. One quests involves removing bricks by clicking them. When you click them they're removed out of your camera so others can still do it themselves. When you quit I wanted it to save what's in the camera so you don't have to click all of the bricks again, only the ones you haven't yet clicked so you can just carry on. That's what it's for.
Anyway thanks guys! Problem solved!

Do not have Local Player's Parts in Camera. Have them in Lighting.
Copy to Camera. When you click them they're removed out of your camera, and Lighting. On Death, Save the ones in Lighting. |
