▬▬ 2: Overview ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Good day, in-depth traveller of the C&G forum, or of course, members of RCR - ROBLOX Command Regiment.
The guidelines before you are expected to be read, and understood, if you are a member of RCR (if not, feel free to read anyway - also feel free to join RCR today).
If there is any doubt, or any questions which spring up whilst you are reading this thread, feel free to PM the CiC of RCR, or one of his trusted HC's.
V.0.3 includes: - Information regarding the HR/MR assessments.
--Commander Jx.--
▬▬ 3: Basic R&R ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
A major portion of the guide is based on RCR's rules and regulations (R&R). These rules ensure the safety and fairness of RCR. Failure to comply results as listed.
/Minor/, if disregarded, can be tolerated to a certain extent: warning first, punishment if no change is shown. If continuous offence by the same person is made, punishment will be dealt similar to that of a Major.
/Major/, if disregarded, is a lot stricter in the punishment given: punishment of some kind, and assessment if your rank.
[GENERAL RULES]
Minor: > Be determined to achieve. > Wear uniforms when on-duty (unless specified otherwise). > Just so we're clear, faces are allowed, but not in excess. If you include a face in every sentence you type out, well... though I have no issues, it's more a matter for your own sake, not to do so.
Major: > Respect ALL members: when there's the option of saluting in-game, it's expected that you salute to your HR's. > As a representation of RCR, you are expected to show maturity and respectability both on and off duty. > At all times, if indeed a true loyal member, you will deal with situations how a RCR member is expected to. > Follow general ROBLOX rules. > Do not get yourself hacked/banned.
=============== [ON-DUTY EVENTS]
N.B. HR's should be aware of their own rules when training, by means of the HR guide.
Minor: > Obey the commands of the trainer / host. > Show determination in order to complete the tasks given.
Major: > Respect all members. > Show maturity. > Represent RCR to the best of your ability. > Do not swear or flame any member of the training / event. > Don't give up. > Don't get into irrelevant / non-beneficial discussions. > Don't argue.
=============== [WALL POSTS]
Minor: > Don't go too far off-topic where it's fully irrelevant to RCR. > At least try to spell correctly, and capitalise the first word in the sentence, whilst also adding a full-stop at the end - this is basic primary knowledge. > Don't post for your own events if you are not a HR+.
Major: > Don't flame / swear. > Don't argue on the wall: if you intend on carrying the argument on, do it through PM. > Don't spam. > Do not advertise your game / your other clan / your etc. if it has nothing to do with RCR.
▬▬ 4: Ranks ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
This section addresses information about ranks: both specifics and rank groups.
➜LOW RANKS >Recruit. >Private. >Corporal. >Specialist. >Sergeant. >Lieutenant.
LR's are required to follow all rules on-duty. Recruits are recommended to do the Initiate Course before attending other events.
➜MIDDLE RANKS >Captain. >Major.
MR's should be as active as any other HR. They hold great responsibilities in terms of following rules, and interpreting such situations to a HR’s capability.
➜ALLIED LEADER RANK >Diplomat.
Their duty is to inform RCR when an ally is in need of help. Status bar is only for shouting for 'aid-in-event' situations.
➜HIGH RANKS >Officer. >Colonel. >General. >Admiral.
HR's must ~ maintain a reasonable activity rate. ~ Perform greatly both on and off the field of battle. ~ Fulfil their great responsibilities.
➜LEADER RANKS >High Command. >Commander in Chief.
A commander must lead the regiment to the best of their abilities. Attitude and behaviour is often the key in the difference between a good leader, and one which isn't so.
▬▬ 5: Promotion guide ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
In general, these are a few tips you should consider when you're earning your ranks:
(1) Maintain a high activity rate: attend RCR events regularly. (2) Train / work hard: dedication is the key to success. (3) Practice, practice, practice: go over what you honestly believe is a weak point of yours, and work on it. A well-rounded soldier is a great soldier. (4) Remember we are a military regiment: respect all, show maturity on-duty, and listen to commands made by HR's (or MR's for that matter). Addressing a HR or MR as "Sir" or "Ma'am" is a sign of respect. (5) Loyalty: when there's a call for an event, you are always there, whether you were doing something else or not. (6) Attitude: it's one thing to be a good soldier, but if you aren't willing to contribute, or you lack the courageousness or respectfulness that a soldier should have, you aren't going to go far. (7) Do not ask for a promotion/test.
▬▬ 6: HR/MR assessments ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
This is information regarding the HR/MR assessments, held every month or so.
The assessments require nothing from a MR or HR at the time, unless they are given a test (awarded from the assessment). However, contribution throughout the month is essential, as it is the basis of the whole assessment.
You are evaluated on two key components: > Activity levels. > Performance/ability as a HR/MR.
If either or both are of concern in a member’s case, their name will be run through the CL (Commanding Line – more info. about the CL in the HR guide), being assessed against their position they hold.
▬▬ 7: Shout info. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Shouts will acquire "shout tags" according to the event that is being held. The list of tags will be used (some will vary) in account of the event taking place.
>MSG A message. >TRAIN Call for training. >RAID Call for raid. >FUN Call for off-duty RCR recreational activity. >FORUM Used rarely, but may be tagged for forum / message differential purposes. >PATROL Call for non-opposing defence of fort. >NEWS As the name implies. >RALLY Call for a rally for an event (most likely a raid / defence).
These are general tags, and as stated above, some will vary (depends entirely on the person shouting).
▬▬ 8: Divisions ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
> Divisions are branched from the main regiment, in order to attain greater achievements in specific regions / areas. > To make an official division, create one and explain its intentions to the CiC. > Important divisions (worth noting): -RCRTA: ROBLOX Command Regiment Tech. Association ~ in charge of the creation of RCR's technology, including weaponry, facilities and attire. You have a choice of either working full-time (stay in the group) or part-time (join the group just to propose an idea or model, in which can be used to RCR's benefits). http://www.roblox.com/My/Groups.aspx?gid=889992 -RCRC: ROBLOX Command Regiment Council ~ all points of concern / interest or just basic ideas / proposals are put up for discussion. HR based division: invite-only for MR ranks and below. http://www.roblox.com/My/Groups.aspx?gid=804225
