Yesterday I played WipeOut Obby by AUDI80... And asked myself a question. "How did he make those round-looking mountains?" So I quitted the game, jumped on the Forums, and wrote this post. So here's my question: "How to do those round mountains?" "How to make them climb-able, unlike the ones on WipeOut Obby?" My friend told me to "CFrame". So I told myself: "What in the world..." So HOW TO MAKE MOUNTAINS WITH "CFrame"!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!? If you reply, please, PLEASE include how to make both climb-able and walk-through-able mountains with "CFrame". |

Go to your profile page and click the 'Edit' button (not 'Build') Wait for ROBLOX Studio to open up. At the top of the screen, you should see three little magnets. The button just to the right of them turns on/off collision check for moving using the arrows. To position a part inside of another, you'll have to turn this off. Insert a Part. In the properties panel, you should see a property called 'Shape'. Change that to 'Ball' to get the shape of the mountain, then make it bigger and position it accordingly. If you want to make it so it doesn't collide with anything, change the 'CanCollide' property of the part to false.
~ Oh, I'm sorry, did I break your concentration? ~ |
