| In and average day 370,000 humans are born. In an average second, 4 babies are born. In 1800, the human population hit 1,000,000,000 (1 billion) for the first time. It took over 240,000 years for us to have a population this large. In 1960, 160 years later, the population hit 2,000,000,000. In about 2011, only about 51 years later, we hit 7,000,000,000. Wait, there is something wrong... By 2050, the population will be roughly about 10-11 billion people. The U.N. also says that on average, now it only takes 12 years to grow the population by another 1 billion. Isn't 7.4 billion people enough? We are already an overpopulated species. Who knows, by 2040, when most of us on ROBLOX will be alive maybe the local diner will have a line of 2 hours. Maybe the highway will be so packed that you only go 20 mph on a good day. Maybe we will run out of resources for ourselfs and die off due to overpopulation, maybe we can help stop this before it ends. If ou support this cause please reply "support" below. Feel free to add to this. |

This is the problem.
I forget what it's called, but it's basically the birth rate goes higher and higher for every person born.
The higher the population = the higher the birth rate.

| @neh wow how stupid did people get. Mars cannot sustain us and our basic needs. Plus how will we make enough ships for 7.4 billions people???? The government wont spend that much. |

Nature sorts itself out all the time. Soon enough a plague or something will come, and because of the crowded cities the overpopulation causes, it will spread fast and reduce the population. |

Ever heard of farming? And we don't have to send EVERYONE to mars. Or the moon. Or other planets. |

Also, I don't get how people say that there is not enough food in the world.
There is actually more than enough food in the world right now.
I forget the statistics but I think it said that with the amount of food we have in the world right now is enough to support a population of 3 times the size earth has now.
And with the advances they are taking in vertical construction, the cities boundaries don't have to grow much anymore, so we would still have the same amount of fields in the world to grow them on.
