honestly, there artists of any music genre that just want the money. rappers just tend to be more open about it. big sean did put a lot of thought into his new album though, he is one of my favorite rappers.

Lowering his reputation? Back in the golden age of hip-hop, rappers where doing this on a daily basis. Most of the people he mentioned showed him respect afterwards. Joel Ortiz is the only person who took offense to his verse, and he's irrelevant.
If anything it's making everyone hyped up. This is good for hip-hop. |
