Well, most of you dudes are pretty good with websites anyway, but I'm sure even you have something learn. Even I do.
I've opened a YouTube channel and I will be uploading web development tutorials. I've uploaded four already, and I will be uploading more each day.

| Why YouTube videos? Why not write a book that you could publish, or create a website where you create interactive courses and host tutorials that you write? Or why not just go contribute to one of the websites (like MDN or WebPlatform Docs) that have tutorials on web development? Why not actually do something useful instead of creating stupid and useless YouTube videos that have no purpose, that nobody will care about, and that won't teach anything to the few people who will actually watch them out of the idea that they will teach them something, even though they obviously won't? |

| Write a book next. It gives you more recognition, in meaning that not very many "developers" look at youtube as you might think. |

people actually use YouTube and can find stuff on it unlike his website which will likely be on some random page that nobody will see or whatever on google
but yes most people would find a document more helpful than a video |

This is the third time I've rewritten my response to you, Oysi, and each time before, I've ended up doubting my opinion, which opposed yours.
I tend to agree with Colorful. Videos are not the best medium for teaching programming in the best possible way. Books can be more thorough, and be more cautious in how it presents particular subjects.
However, you are correct. Videos engage the user in a way book cannot and also give the user immediate feedback, allowing them to see how things should happen, and compare it with their own experience to a degree of precision that books would fail to offer.
In this age of emerging technology, books are still the an excellent resource, but videos add new dimension to the learning experience, and are more cost effective, unless you visit your local library.
In the future, I ask you be less abrasive, so that I might have a reason to agree with you sooner.

| This is a matter of personal preference. Just because oysi's 'abrasive' doesn't mean that he's wrong. That's rather ignorant of you to disagree with someone's opinion based on their tone. And again BEST is subjective. You may find books better, others may find videos better. |
