Dear biased people,
You have obviously never used a Mac for yourself. You can't say it sucks when you've never tried it. The look and feel of Macs honestly feel much better than Windows, or even Linux. The performance on one of the cheapest macs they sell is pretty amazing.
I can finally run Minecraft without worrying about lag. I can finally run ROBLOX without worrying about lag. I can finally run ANYTHING without worrying about lag.
In the world of Macs, every new computer runs super smoothly, no matter what you throw at it. In the world of PCs, it won't work unless you throw extra money and hardware at it. (Though, if you do have Linux, it is cheaper to have a PC. It's free, unlike the $200 ripoff Windows that doesn't even do as much as Mac, or even Linux either)
>"Just build your own computer" I don't need to when I get a Mac. Plus macs can only run Mac OS X. No thank you.
>"Windows doesn't suck" You pay $200 or so to get a desktop and a taskbar. That is a huge ripoff. I mean, come on, even LINUX is better than that. Linux is free, and does more than Windows, but not quite as much as Mac. Come on. No wonder Windows is declining.
>"Macs are more expensive" Over time, actually, Macs can sometimes end up being cheaper depending on the model. It's much more than only buying the computer.
I convinced my Mom to get a Mac to replace the Windows 8 computer she absolutely hated. She got a MacBook Pro, and it's really really nice. The performance is insane for a laptop, and it has very good battery life too.
My Windows computer I spent a good amount of money on is an absolute piece of crap.
I am getting an iMac very soon. I am also officially an iOS developer, so I'll need this thing.
Now I will probably get many replies. Some of them will be Mac users agreeing with me about this, many will be angry biased Windows users who have never touched a mac in their life, and some will be unbiased people who don't care at all.
Cheers, -Ryan |

| I've used macs and they felt sluggish and foreign to me. Was not a nice experience. And also the cheapest mac performs well because it is still expensive. |

You are saying that Mac is better because you don't have to pay for OSX, even though it is included in the price of one. Also, no one is saying Macs don't have good specs - they are just very overpriced for the specs they do have. You can get a Windows computer that can run just as well as a Mac for half the price. You can also install OSX on any computer, since the only thing preventing you is the EULA which doesn't hold up in court. "In the world of Macs, every new computer runs super smoothly, no matter what you throw at it. In the world of PCs, it won't work unless you throw extra money and hardware at it. " Except that isn't a valid comparison. You already have thrown extra money and hardware at the Mac, and it would be cheaper to get a high-end PC with the same specs. |

"never used a Mac for yourself. You can't say it sucks when you've never tried it." >I've used it, a lot.
"The look and feel of Macs honestly feel much better than Windows, or even Linux." >That's your, and only 1% of the world's opinion.
"I can finally run ANYTHING without worrying about lag." >Barly anything.
"In the world of Macs, every new computer runs super smoothly, no matter what you throw at it." >Nope, so wrong. Also, Macs DO get viruses.
"In the world of PCs, it won't work unless you throw extra money and hardware at it" >That's Mac, you need to be some updates. In windows everything that is to due with updates is free. And everything works in windows. Prehistoric had himself 1000 (yes, 1 thousand) processes open and he was able to use his computer.
"unlike the $200 ripoff Windows that doesn't even do as much as Mac" >Windows does more than macs, it has more (like 500 times more) software downloadable on it, since Macs are pretty incompatible.
"You pay $200 or so to get a desktop and a taskbar. " >Ohh, and so much other free things online, and others: WMV, MSE, IE10 (wutev), CP, NP, WP, MO, and 100 more that come with most computers. |

I've been a Windows users for >6 years. I hate it.
Mac, on the other hand has a better feel for me. I'm not sure why. I really like it. |

| I've used macs before. The look and feel point is pure opinion. I like W7/W8 functionality, look, and feel far better than any mac I've ever used. Know why? Because it feels like I can do more with windows, contrary to your belief. |

| If you really love the OSX (not 'Mac', btw. You can have a Mac and not have OSX installed), there are plenty of Linux distros that have the same feel as it. And are also free. |

My Windows computer would have crashed and burned by 500
>Windows does more than macs, it has more (like 500 times more) software downloadable on it, since Macs are pretty incompatible. lolno. Almost every bit of software I ever need to use is Mac compatible. Macs also come with way more features built in without needing to download anything.

WMV - I don't care MSE - I don't need it IE10 - You have got to be kidding me CP- wat NP - wat WP - wat MO - wat |

| @RenderSettings I'm sure they're not just as good as Mac, and besides, more software is made for Mac than Linux, or can Linux run Windows software without any Virtual Machines? |

Linux is better than OSX in pretty much all cases. No messy EULAs, open source, more applications, Wine, able to customize everything, faster OS itself, free updates, free, free, um... free, community of not 10 year old hipsters... programmer-friendly, looks better, not Mac, free...
