If you don't know what you are getting into... Don't do it.
Make sure you have a much better cooler than the stock to OC ANYTHING.

The 8350 at stock is 4.1 GHZ.
The new AMD prosessors are 5 GHZ. |

I changed my mind and I want to OC it to 4.2 GHz instead.
My graphics card is the Sapphire Radeon HD 7950. |

4.1 GHZ is the stock clock.
The 7950 should be giving yourself enough power anyway. |

pointless
1. doenst help your CPU perform that well (still outclassed by i5s) 2. greatly increases power draw (up to 350w with 4.5GHz) 3. greatly increases heat output 4. if you got an FX processor for budget, i am going to assume that your motherboard isnt made for great overclocking |
