I can already see #4 failing cause people think it's LUA instead of lua.

There are already some kinda Portal-like games, but I think all you would need to make a game like Portal would be:
Functioning mirrors, and the ability to look through other cameras, through your own camera (i.e. seeing what's on the other side of the portal)
Customized vocal work, for the Glados computer, but even that's optional
And perhaps motion blurs, but you could fake that using blurred decals that decrease in translucency according to your character's velocity
And of course decal animation, for things like the actual portals themselves. |

I would like to imagine that Lua will be used in Universities but it's been proved that LUA is inferior to other codes like C++. Personally, I'm still learning Lua but it would be cool if Universities utilised Roblox as a learning experience as it should be. That's what most people forget now-a-days, people think it's just a kid's game. But other than that, your other predictions seem like it would make a nice future for the game. :D

I see. Scripting on Roblox is a bunch of fun. I'd agree with you, if schools or institutions want to test their Lua codes on smaller things, Roblox would be a great place to start.

Lua is actually simpler than C++. So if children were to start anywhere, it's Lua. It's not that complicated actually. And we have a Roblox Wiki section dedicated to helping players get started with Lua.

Yeah I doubt 12 year old kids would be using Lua bit it's rather simple. It doesn't take a student in the tenth grade to learn it.
