CELTIC CRUISE TO A 3-0 LEAD GOING INTO THE SECOND LEG IN 6 DAYS TIME.
Celtic, who started from the 3rd qualifying round last year and went on to defy all odds and qualify to the last 16. Now had to start from the second qualifying round, in which they were drawn against Northern Irish champions Cliftonville.
Celtic won the tournament once 46 years ago in the same city as the final venue will be played this year, could this be a moment of magic for the men in hoops? |

CELTIC SEE OFF ELFSBORG 1-0 ON AGGREGATE IS A VERY BORING TO NEUTRALS BUT EXCRUCIATINGLY PAINFUL MATCH FOR CELTIC FANS
THE DRAW HAS BEEN MADE THIS MORNING AND THEY WILL PLAY SHAKHTER KARAGRANDY FROM KAZAKHSTAN FOR THE CHANCE TO GO TO THE GROUP STAGES.
Celtic caused one of the biggest upsets in European and World football last year as they took on the Runners Up of the Spanish League, runners up of the Portuguese League and the champions of the russian league, and took points off all 3 of them.
The biggest upset being that Celtic were seconds away from grabbing a point at the Nou Camp but were caught out by Jordi Alba.
2 Weeks later they were just a day after celebrating their 125th anniversary, the present? A monumental victory against the world's best team.
They later suprised the skeptics by relying on a 80th minute penalty strike by Kris Commons which rattled the bar but bounced over the line and hit the roof of the net, which granted them qualification to the last 16. They met their match after that as they were outdone by Italian Champions Juventus. |

"A monumental victory against the world's best team."
Unless you beat Real Madrid, you didn't beat the best team. |

| Real Madrid are far from the best team in the world, they only have Ronaldo, that is it. Barcelona have many of the worlds best player and they show good teamwork and are strategically superior |

But you said Real Madrid are the best team in the world
How come they lost 5-0 to Barcelona, or how did they lose the league horribly?
You are throwing Bayern Munich into this conversation for no aparrent reason... |
