The removal of bevels, outlines... according to ROBLOX, they have all been steps towards what they call a "unified aesthetic" which, for those who don't understand it, is basically moving towards making all ROBLOX games look the same. I am now going to list reasons why this won't work:
Argument 1: Have the admins ever taken a look at the simply VAST variety of styles and flavors that ROBLOX comes in? From the dark grittiness that is DeadZone, to the bouncy and colorful Block Town, to the elegant Lightness of Freedom, to the quiet and peaceful The Wind. You cannot unite all these flavors under one aesthetic.
Argument 2: ROBLOX has always had an emphasis on creative freedom: you could literally build ANYTHING YOU WANTED, so long as it didn't break the rules. So many of the ROBLOX updates (Removing bevels, removing custom music, removing user meshes) seemed to be moving towards limiting creative freedom, and the unified aesthetic just solidifies that reality even more
Argument 3: NOBODY WANTS A UNIFIED AESTHETIC. From the building community, to the scripting community, to the foruming community, EVEN ONE OF THE ADMINS, agrees that a unified aesthetic is not a good path for ROBLOX to follow.
Argument 4: The main point of a unified aesthetic was so you could tell the game you are looking at is ROBLOX. THAT IS ALREADY POSSIBLE. I can look at Krielos and say "ROBLOX!" I can look at Strobe and say "ROBLOX!" I could look at Base Wars and say "ROBLOX!" I could look at The Wind and say "ROBLOX!" Heck, I could even look at the Temple of the Sea and say "ROBLOX"
These are my reasons why the movement towards a unified aesthetic MUST STOP HERE. |

| Support, one of the traits that I judge games by is their originality and 'style', or so you could call it. If they all were styled the same, what's the fun in that? It's more fun having simple, complicated, and anything in between. It adds more creativity, it makes your game diverse from others. It makes it original and unique. |

Without bevels returning, I see no point in outlines.
If bevels don't come back I won't settle for just making outlines possible.
If bevels don't come back, I want outlines GONE. COMPLETELY. |

Does ROBLOX even know what Aesthetic means?
Aestheticness shows creativity, style, the word itself almost means "art."
Making every game look bland and the exact same is pointless. |

| My friend, bump until the sun goes down. Roblox needs to read this. |

Though I would argue that a unified aesthetic is a good thing, I find the problem with one in the fact that Roblox is not a game, Roblox is a physics engine and game creation platform. More options, such as outlines, is great, maybe I want to design all my places around them, maybe not. (And they have already announced that outlines will be optional)
I love that so many games do share a common Roblox style. I personally see the Roblox style based off my impressions from my earlier years, in which the "Roblox Style" is a more brick themed (so minimal smooth cframe) cartoon style. Details are nice but they should pop, things should focus on contrasting colors and hard lines. It's a style that is really iconic of Roblox and it's roots.
But why would one ever, EVER, reject the ability for game creators to make their own styles? Slowly we saw a creep to more realistic and gritty themes in popular builds. Details that where smooth and colors that blended. There is nothing wrong with that, those games are breath-taking too. Why would you ever want to punish all but one group of these aesthetics though, just for one theme that would stand even stronger?
I respect that it is up to them as a company to make their own decisions, and honestly I enjoy building and scripting and will simply work around new things, but I just think that aesthetic options should be expanded, not limited. |

| Oh, and the only way it moves Roblox towards a unified aesthetic is by using a rendering that all computers and devices can run. It has always been unified in the way you are putting it (All games had bevels before, all games don't now) |

And as for "removing custom music, removing user meshes"
This was due to an exploit, which made it impossible to moderate. |
