Macs are not great for, nor are they meant for gaming in any way.
Macs use more power, exhaust their resources for performance, and in the end, the game is about as stable as Lindsay Lohan on a Saturday night.

And you have no idea what you're talking about.
Mac OSX is specifically optimized for certain hardware within computers sold by Apple. The only real reason for any sort of slowdown would have to be through software implementation and how well ported games take advantage of the hardware they are being targeted for.
Currently the lowest end Mac - the Mac Mini has higher end hardware than the majority of computers sold this year thus capable of running more intensive processes.
This common misconception is because OSX isn't Windows and you can't run Windows processes on a different operating system [ Don't get me started on those overlays that are quite buggy. This can even be solved by a Bootcamp installation or a native one. |

Macs keep having OS updates because they never seem to get the job done right.

By the way, I use a Macbook quite frequently.
I usually use my Windows desktop for ROBLOX simply because its more optimized for this platform. |

Are you serious? Macs are a joke.
First of all, they are incredibly overpriced, sometimes containing equivalent PC hardware yet costing twice as much. Second, they have a very small amount of third party support compared to PCs, you're going to have to put up with the Superficial Elitist Apple Team (SEAT) to get anything done.
Graphics aren't high end, but that's because you don't play games on them. The Apple's Innovative security argument is laughable. You don't get a virus on a mac because nobody writes a virus for a mac.

That isn't true because there have been many instances of harmful software on OSX. Apple's team does a fine job patching all of this thanks to its UNIX base code.
As for support that really isn't a problem really. The hardware is quite high end especially on the mobile ones. The graphics aren't high end because of the specific shape of the computers apple builds. Thin and light, while remaining elegant.
The Mac Pro defeats every argument here. |
