I got my Optiplex last year and it worked for most games I play.
But my Video Card overheated and now I need a new PSU and a GPU
So Is it a good card for it.
It's the Desktop Version
Don't judge me
:c

no you couldnt the optiplex is smaller than a rat and is meant to be an office computer even if it did fit all the other parts of the computer would bottleneck your gpu and the the components would overheat constantly

@joan
I would be getting a new PSU to handle the over heating..
I seen on sites where it is Possible to do it on A Desktop but you'd need a new PSU to handle it.

there would be so little room in the computer and the fans are only meant to cool down the parts already in the computer plus with the small space it makes it easier for the computer to overheat don't waste your time i would suggest just getting a new computer |

@Joan
The one I'm getting is smaller then a card you'd see for a 6670 and I'd a Radeon 1300 it was longer and it is the same size in height.
http://us.ncix.com/products/?sku=63154&vpn=AX6670%201GBK3-H&manufacture=PowerColor
It will fit in my Optiplex 745

lol
you dont need to buy a computer, if cooling is an issue install 1-2 more fans
you have plenty of tools, a 6670 would be fine if you had 250 watts in your psu, i did quick math and it may work but it will be cutting it close with your power supply, as long nothing is being a massive power drain.
joan 6670s are not big at all lol, |

joan your expectations are too high,
_____
you are 100% fine with just buying the 6670, maybe order 1 or 2 extra case fans with it if heat is really a concern to you
make sure your power supply is okay, and if youd like to upgrade the power supply then you can just ride your current computer until it doesnt work well anymore, then upgrade mobo cpu and psu
