| I've never watched 'The Hunger Games' before, though I have read the book. I'm planning on watching it soon. Is the movie a lot different from the book? Which is better? |

Read the book, then watch the movie. It's that simple. |

| I re-fused to watch the movie before reading the books. I honestly prefer the books, but that's usually the case. There are many similarities AND differences, but I won't spoil anything. |

*Someone asks for advice*
*people reply saying go look for yourself* (Humans are monsters)
The first movie is pretty much the same thing as the book, it has very little changes and some details are run over a bit. The effects are good, but the tech is basic, and it didn't show how much people hated the Capitol.
It just showed a bunch of missrable people.
But if you liked the books than you'll like the movie.
I didn't like the books and I didn't like the first movie, but by the looks of the trailer the second movie will be much better due to the fact their changing things. |

| I liked the first book, the second and third were terrible, IMO. |

@swift,
I thought that same thing. The first book was a Novelty, but after that the series dissolved into a sci-fi thriller.

| There is very little changes but not too many and I like the movie a little bit more than the book because I'm more of a visual learner and it makes more sense to me. |

| I hated the series, but if you like the book you will probably like the movie. I myself get annoyed at the slightest changes. On of my biggest problems with the movie was that Effie said "I'll bet my hat" instead of "I'll bet my buttons." |

If the movies change a lot from the books they might become better.
The books are terrible. IMO |

| I hate the books because she ended up with Peeta. I mean come on, she's known Gale forever, and she chose Peeta? w0w Gale and Katniss would've been perfect, but wahtevz. But in the Catching fire trailer, Gale kisses her so i think the movies are gonna be better |

@Haylee Katniss chose Peeta because she wanted to trick the Capitol or something like that. She didn't love him at all, it's because it pleased the crowd when people saw them apparently falling in love. |

| @Rose But that makes no sense... I lost Mockingjay so I didn't finish it and I've heard from people that she married Peeta. Why would she choose someone who she doesn't even love over someone who understands her, who loves her, who has stuff in common with her, who makes her laugh and smile (which she hardly even does)? I mean gosh.. she has bad taste. |

Just think about it like highschool.
You have a friend that understands you and you want to be with him forever, when another one comes by and gets you. |

| The series is very mediocre and the movie is worse. It's audience is mainly fifth graders. |
