| Everyone everywhere will see it. It's coming around November, and it's staying for three months. It's brighter than the moon, and it will be visible to our naked eyes. ISON only comes every 10 million years so... |

| Meh, I'll wait the next 10 million years until I can actually make a space station on it. |

Comets do not generate light or heat. It is caused by air resistance from the atmosphere. Therefore it CANNOT be brighter than the sun. |

| Did you not just read what I said? I said it would be brighter than the MOON, i.e. it will reflect more light than the Moon would from the Sun. |

| How do they even know it's a comet? What if it's abandoned extraterrestrial spacecraft? |

| "It's brighter than the moon, and it will be visible to our naked eyes." Actually ISON has a magnitude 13-15 (very low) And ISON will probably DONT survive the flight around the sun. And i dont think ISON is a spacecraft... but in some videos on YT there are following 7 or 8 objects ISON..... |

Commander and Fd, stop with the comments. Light doesn't get produced from Gravitational pulls. He said it will be brighter than moon, the moon, however doesn't light up. It depends where the moon is orbiting earth for the stages. If you see a diagram of the sun, earth and just the moon exactly, when the moon is right in front of the sun, it generates the most lights. Please be logical. Uh, I have nothing else to say than this.
yup |

@mega
Everything has a gravitational pull. Even the piece of dust on your space bar right now. It just has so little mass compared to the Earth you can't feel it. |

I MEANT IT WOULD BE BRIGHTER THAN THE MOON BY IT WOULD REFLECT MORE SUNLIGHT THAN THE MOON. How many times do I have to repeat that? |
