Some of you may have seen me the other day, I created a post that introduced myself to this forum community. This is really my first post outside of that. I apologize for another thread that blatantly shouts out about how I'm new and need help, but I had a few questions that I couldn't resist asking. If you're not one for reading long posts, no need to continue on and post your YouTube "Didn't read, LOL" link.
To start it off, I just wanted to ask what kinds of games are the most desirable. Like any player, my goal is to create a new and innovative game, but that's not to say that I don't need a genre as a starting base. I have seen hundreds of kinds of games on ROBLOX, ranging from rising water escapes to apocalyptic roleplay and even to surviving extremely wacky and random disasters. I have no idea of what genre people like the most, so I don't have anything to build off of. Do they like sci-fi, adventure, roleplays, first person shooters, or anything else?
The second question I had was if I should purchase Builders Club, and what kind of Builders Club. There's no doubt that I'm going to eventually spend money on the upgrades, but I wanted to know which one is the best to buy. I'm probably just going to stick with the cheapest, as I don't want to spend far too much money, but I'd like more than one opinion before doing the act. What is the best membership, and how long should it be for? I don't think I'll go with a Lifetime of membership, but how long should it be for?
The third and final question I have is how many friend requests I should accept. After creating my first post, I received countless friend requests, but other sources told me it would be a good idea to decline them since they're from random people I don't know. I take the meaning of 'friends list' literally, and have decided to only accept requests from people I already know or have acquainted myself well with. Is this a good idea? It'd help keep the secrecy of my game (when I begin working on it) to the maximum level, and would also prevent clogging up, like someone with over 2,000 friends. But have I made the right choice?
Thank you to those who will answere these, ConfusionCore |

| As long as it's not the YouTube link that leads to the obnoxious song, I'm content if you didn't read it but felt the need to reply anyway. |

| I respect if you don't want me to be here, Querq, and I apologize for that, but I'm probably not going to leave until I get an opinion or two on these questions. |

I'm in a good mood today so I'll try to answer. Yeaay
1) People enjoy a variety of games, so it differs. IMO, I enjoy survival games the most.
2) If you really want the upgrades, go for BC, either one month or six months to start off with. You'll get to have up to 10 active places and 15 daily R$, and other benefits.
3) Of course you wouldn't want to accept random friend requests, because they'll fill up unwanted pages in your friend's list. I made that mistake and now I have all these random people in my friend's list I don't even know. |

First of all, Robloxians like all type of games, as long as they're fun, different, and have upgrades. Trust me, people like upgrades because they like being higher than others. Now for Builders Club, it really depends on you. If you have money or not. I recommend starting with BC and if you want more, upgrade. If you make a successful game, you will gain more money and won't need to upgrade. Just have BC for the features. Lastly, for the friend requests, I would only accept people I know. If you accept everyone, you will have random people that will never talk to you.
Hope this helped. |

For your first question, see for your self: http://www.roblox.com/games/?sortFilter=default&timeFilter=0&genreFilter=1
For your second question: Just buy Regular BC that's all you will need to make profit.
For your third question: Who you want on your friends list is for you to decide, I usually just add people I've acquainted myself with, and when I haven't I end up deleting them. Some people like StickMasterLuke I've had even though I've never met, I'm allowed to visit his illusion game so it's all good. :P |

You could put tons of work into scripting and what not and have a game with a real story line and a bunch of details and people would still play "GET EATEN BUY A BIG NOOB" or something along those lines. The gaming aspect of ROBLOX is strange.
I'd wait until you get a real feel for the game and community before purchasing something like builders club. You wouldn't want to waste money on a game you're going to play for a week. Give it some time, then maybe get a month of basic builders club to see how you like it.
The friend request thing is up to you. If you want to have a list of friends who are only people who you really like to play with, then go for it. If you want to have 10,000 friends that's okay too. That's up to you. |

My opinions are: 1) I am frustrated with the ROBLOX Admins because they don't care about us, They care about the money. 2) They release crappy updates which glitch the games even more. 3) They release STUPID updates which patch our fun in games. 4) They are putting a error saying "ROBLOX cannot startup user code 0x1" Just because we entered a game which later got Content Deleted. 5) They patched the fix for the User Code 0x1 error which makes ROBLOX the worst game in history 6) AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA 7) AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA This game is stupid. Case closed. |
