The beeping of an alarm awakens you, dragging you away from strange yet unimportant dreams. Your room was cold, something you were gradually growing used to. It was bearable and, when it got to bad, you could always bunker down on your thin mattress under the many quilts your mother had sewn. "Isidore!" A girl-ish voice called from a nearby room. "School!" They yelled louder. A few seconds later a young woman runs into the room, arms crossed angrily. Obviously you hadn't come fast enough for them. She eyed your room with an annoyed expression, taking in the tan carpet and white walls. It was quite plain really. The only piece of furniture was a wooden chair. Your bed didn't even have a frame as you were still moving into a new home. The rest of your room appeared to be a mess of unpacked boxes. "When you get home rememeber to unpack," she said before exiting the room. "I made you breakfast!" |

I groan, pushing myself off of the u comfortable mattress I called a bed. I roll over, falling onto the luckily carpeted floor before groggily getting up. I wasn't exactly a morning person. I walked to the bathroom, getting ready for another day of school, brushing my teeth, showering, all of that fun stuff, before heading to the dining room to get my breakfast.

Your mother slid a plate of burnt toast and slightly undercooked eggs across the table. The bacon she served it with was the color of charcoal. She never was a good cook. She sat across from you, smiling. "Remember to have a good day, okay? I want you to hear about all the friends you make!" She then stood up, ruffling your hair and giving you a hug. She still treated you like a child, despite the fact that you were in highschool. She looked back with a concerned look before walking out of the room. "Be careful!" She yelled. |

(Can I change it so that he doesn't know about the world of gods yet?)
I looked at the food. 'I'm not THAT hungry..' I thought to myself. 'I'll pick something up at school.' I walked out of the door, saying goodbye before closing it and then heading off to school.

| Ever since you had moved here your mom had been a bit jumpy. She hugged you everytime you left the house, even if it was simply to take out the trash. She insisted on you two camping out in the living room for weeks, claiming that it would be 'fun.' You still don't know how you convinced her to let you stay in your own room. The weirdest, and most annoying instance, was her instance of you to wear a silver bracelet every time you left the house. Normally this wouldn't be bad. It was just a bit... girly. Your mom apologized relentlessly but still insisted you wear it. After all, it was a gift from your father. He bought it for his 'little girl', unaware that you would be a boy. He never had a chance to exchange it as he had died before you were born. |

Many didn't notice the bracelet. Those that did ignored it. It did, however, attract the attention of a girl your age. Everyday she harrassed you about it. As you neared the school that very girl skipped over, doing her best to loop her arm over your shoulder. The action was awkward considering the fact that you were much taller than her. She stumbled slightly before giving up, instead settling for poking your arm. "Hello, Missy!" She exclaimed with a grin on her face. |

I continue walking along, ignoring her. I yawn, and then hear my stomach growl..perhaps I should get breakfast at school.

The girl frowned, moving her hand to your wrist. She pulled at the silver chains. "Missy, it is rude to ignore people," she said, still trying to gather your attention. You walk to the cafeteria, the girl still following you. The cafeteria was practically empty. A few students stood in line, waiting to be served 'delicious' food by a 'friendly' kitchen staff. There was an unpleasent stench in the air, almost as if something were rotting. |

The girl followed you to the line, looking at the kitchen staff curiously. She now seemed cautious, almost as if she sensed something was wrong. As you reached for one of the many meals of bacon, eggs, and sausage paties she stopped you. "I wouldn't eat that!" She warned. The food does look a bit off though you aren't sure if she is just messing with you. |

The girl offers you a small square resembling a golden brownie. She still was following you. "You seem hungry," she said as she laid the square on the table in front of you. She grinned slightly before standing up and walking back in line. The faces of the kitchen staff grew angry. |

The brownie was delicious and, strangely untouched. You quickly finished it off. The girl now seemed to be yelling, waving her arms wildly at the staff. She seemed upset though you couldn't understand her words. |

The girl is yelling about how the food is unhealthy. At first it seems that she is simply a rebellious teenager, attempting to push some bounderies. As she continues it soon becomes apparent she is anything but that. She may be a little insane though. She seemed to be yelling at the staff about... Cannibalism? Her voice quieted down as she hisses out a threat and pulls a bronze comb our of her hair. A few platinum Blonde curls fall loose. She must be insane, right? |

(It is dark. Why am I writing about this!?)
One of the staff holds up a spatula while the others pick up what appears to be oranges. Their voice rumbles as they in turn threaten the girl. "Death's daughter, I recommend you leave before you become our next meal!" She takes a step back, attempting to avoid the swing of the spatula. Others in the cafeteria look up. They seem panicked, almost as if something dangerous were happening. They didn't move though. |

The kid shoved you, before moving to the girl. When you turn back you see musculer 'men.' Each crouch behind the counter, most holding red hot balls of metal. The leader, holding a sword red with fire, is attempting to cut down the blonde. She nimbly avoids each slice, attempting to get closer with her own bronze weapon. Four sharp and long claws extend from each hand, the tips being made of black obsidion. |

(Coward :O)
The girl rolls to the side, narrowly avoiding being cut in two. "Rude!" She called out before leaping to her feat. She scrambled over the counter, claws digging into the shoulder of one of the giants. He fell forward, hands covering the bloody wound. The skin around his wound started to black, slowly spreading through the rest of his body. A scream ripped through the air as another giant grabbed the girl, one meaty hand wrapped around a tog like arm. He laughed, bouncing her like a puppet. At the same time a metal ball was thrown toward your hiding place. |
