Geckos have microscopic hairs on the pads of their fingers that enables them to climb vertical panes of glass using Van der Waals forces - not suction or chemical stickiness.

I can tell you why! The tip of the giraffe tongue is black as a type of sunscreen protection. It uses that part of the tongue out in the sun so often that if it was pink like the rest of it's tongue it would be sunburned

Whales sings in a deeper and deeper pitch since we started recording them from the 60's. We don't know why, but it may be because of fewer whales as lower pitch means longer sound waves which travels further, or that because of big ships and submarines the noize in the higher frequencies is to big.
Some whales travel in groups and here is where it get interesting. When a school of whales passes another school, they hear the song that school sings, and if it is a good song, they copy it for their own. It have been recorded that ALL the whales sings the same song. In other words, there have been a Gangnam style for whales at one point.
There is a school of whales west of Australia that never have song a original song. The males, who are the only one who sings, listen in on the songs from a far more creative school of whales that resides in the Indian Ocean, and sings remixes of their songs. That is, they change the pitch and tone, maybe some of the structure of the song, but it is still the same melody and so on.

My phone slid off the roof of my car at a bank then I drove to a burger king three blocks away. While I was eating I realized I didn't have it and asked the first guy to come up to me if I could use his phone to call mine to see if it was in my car and he pulls my phone out of ~~my~~ his pocket and asks if it belonged to me. It was a homeless guy that was walking into the BK to refill his drink. Still pretty convinced it was an angel.

While I was in Hawaii I was chased by a group of turtles. They followed me for about 30 yards before I got to the beach.
