"Claudio Reyna"
Are you having a joke?
It has to be between Dempsey, McBride, or Friedel |

Lol?
Brad Friedel wasn't even better than Kasey Keller so how can he be the best player? Dempsey still hasn't done enough on the international stage, Brian McBride is debatable. Claudio Reyna is a proven legend and captained the USMNT and has 111 caps. |

Friedel made over 80 apps for the US, and there was a time where he played 250 consecutive Premier League games. He is regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the league's history
Dempsey has made at least 100 apperances for the national side, and has proven himself in the best league in the world |

Friedel made over 80 apps for the US _______________________________
So? Keller made over 100 if you're basing this off of caps
Dempsey has hardly proven himself. Fulham isn't exactly the best club ever. The jury is still out until he has a season with Spurs that isn't injury plagued. |

Also, Claudio Reyna captained the 2002 USA squad to the quarterfinals of the World Cup, the farthest any USA team has ever gotten.
Tell me who else has done that? |

| Not to mention he played for Manchester City over 80 times and was actually successful there. |

Frist of all, Friedel had a consistant career in England. Up until last season, he was the number 1 choice at all his clubs, while most of the time Keller had to settle for second spot.
Dempsey scored 17 goals in the Premier League, that is not an easy feat. His goalscoring ratio for the US isnt even that bad, 35 goals, one of the top 10 scorers. |

Top 10 isn't number one
And I don't care what Friedel did for England, I care what he did for the US
Right now, the best ever players are Landon Donovan, and Claudio Reyna. |

| If youre talking about this based on only the national side, then yeah probably Donovan or Reyna. But club level is more improtant these days, and it is what you get judged and paid on. Dempsey, Friedel, and even Howard have represented the US the best way |

| Lol, are you saying playing at Leverkusen, Wolfsburg, Rangers, Sunderland, and Manchester City is not representing the USA well enough? |

| Reyna was the first American to captain a European club, doing so with Wolfsburg. |

| Ftt, I know this from basically watching the Premier League and CONCACAF tournaments. Whenever I see the US play, Dempsey is the most effective player. |

Lol then you obviously haven't watched much.
Everyone knows Michael Bradley is the most consistent USMNT player. |
