The English would still be envious of the Spanish and send some new hero to the colonies. Basically the English wanted to benefit from that. And the Spanish definitely can't have a whole chunk of resources, land, and treasure to be entitled to, right? |

@Dire
I'm sure that some Caucasians would come to the "US" if they didn't settle here at first. And what about Canada? Would they Conquer that too? But, now that I think about it, most of the Northern part of the US would be probably like test sites. Or something like that. |

@Super
True. But if the UK or something, decided that it's not fair, then they might be defeated by them since they have that whole chunk of land. And with that whole chunk of land, there would be a large army waiting for them.
And that got me thinking, would most inventions still be around? I mean, with America owned to the Spanish, that means that people wouldn't have to move. Thus, causing less immigration, which means that most lovers wouldn't meet. |

@FAQ Yes, I wouldn't be here. History would change a lot, but maybe a few pieces. We can't accurately predict each step they would take. Spain mostly took South America and Central America. (hence the influence) UK took their colonization up in North America. Having to deal with the French. (eventually turning up with the French and Indian War) One thing for sure, Spain was one of the first to set foot on the New World. Hundreds of years before America even formed. (and after they formed they start to expand heavily)
They did take a huge chunk of land because they were first, and made a lot of progress. Funny how they didn't take any chance to take down the 13 colonies. So huge. I guess they were developing on their own. They had some lands in the west, but eventually they were taken by America. And soon, they just kind of collapse in the inside by rebellion in South America and Central America. "And that got me thinking, would most inventions still be around?" I mean, with America owned to the Spanish, that means that people wouldn't have to move." Means people wouldn't have to move? Why wouldn't they want to move? And the invention part, well wouldn't the Spanish want something like all that awesome stuff to be wealthy, to be rich, to be prosperous, to make jobs easier? "Thus, causing less immigration, which means most lovers wouldn't meet" That depends on the colonies, if they succeed or not. Immigrants all look for success, just like in America. Its subjective... |

| I'm surprised it was the rebellions that the huge chunks of their colonies away instead of something like a European country. (eg: France, England) |

Well, Spain already has a continent, so why would they need N. America? France and English will fight over it until 1807, likely, and Britannia will be in power til this day, and then some.
We are the Borg. Resistance is Futile. |

You know they should have done this Wait until France and Britain tears each other apart in the French and Indian War. Britain will have war debts that needs to be paid, they tax the colonists. War tears out. And at the same times Spain moves in from the Caribbean and Florida and Mexico and takes out the south Minimal resistance from the Native Indians :) |

@Awkrin But Spain influenced Central and South America heavily. Which includes religion. They indoctrinated all those people, and it came down to generation to generation. Think this immigrant attack might help? |
