| So I'm looking at MarketplaceService:GetProductInfo and I noticed that it returns two ID numbers in its dictionary, ProductId and AssetId. We all know what an AssetId is, but what it a ProductId, how is it different, and what can I use it for? |

| Can you give an example of what the ProductId gives? |

| Could you post the AssetId and ProductId? I'd like to do a little test. |

| By the way, you can check this out: http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php/Website_APIs. But it doesn't have anything about ProductId in it. |

Yeah, sorry about not responding. No one posted so I went to bed.
For example, Gravity Coil's ProductId is 2853076, but it's AssetId is 16688968. |

| Maybe the AssetId is the ID of the item itself and the ProductId is the Mesh's ID? |

| I don't know but the ProductId of some assets is 0. Maybe they only have ProductIds if they've been enabled for InsertService? Maybe it's something only ROBLOX Admins can have? I'm really not sure. |

Sorry for the very late reply but... I HAVE FIGURED IT OUT! ProductId is what the ROBLOX Scripts use to buy assets. I made a script by using an API URL I found and I managed to successfully buy one of the new Percy Jackson hats with it. I did try to edit the data to see if I could get it free but it appears not. :l What I don't understand is why assets need a ProductId... the script could've just used the AssetId. o_O |
