| My Philips TV is worse, it has an auto-brightness setting that I just cannot turn off. When there's a dark scene on screen the brightness will turn itself DOWN to the point where it's barely visible. It's so completely stupid and I have no idea why that was a design choice. |

you can get a good 1920x1080 monitor for $100 or a better 1920x1080 led + ips monitor for $135 (colors are more accurate and bright, better viewing angle but the viewing angle probably doesn't matter)
On the other hand, I'm left-handed. |
