there is litterally NO reason why somebody would want to game on a console lol. exclusives? what exclusives? the older console exclusives can be emulated (along with the wii, because the hardware in that piece of crap is a joke) so, we have what, halo 3, which is most likely coming to pc soon, ok, and halo reach, which sucked. halo 4 looks good, i mean i'll give you that, but is it worth playing on a INFERIOR piece of technology?
i'm not trying to insult console gamers, i'm trying to help them. to get them to a REAL gaming experience rather than a flawed one. |

Some people like the experience of playing a game on a physical console. Not on a keyboard or a USB controller.
If you didn't know already, emulating is illegal and it's reccommended by the emulating hosting sites to have the game before downloading it to insure you're not illegally downloading it. |

except using a controller on a console is playing with a "usb controller"

Exclusives such as MGS, Halo and soon to be Destiny are good examples of why you would game on consoles. Also it's a lot less hassle eg, you buy a game and it just works, you don't bother faffing around with settings etc. (Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with messing with settings, these examples are not specific to me) There's also less that can go wrong with a PC for your average joe tool as most things are taken care of by the manufacturer. |

| Slightly better then your last attempt. Sadly that last sentence ruined it. Keep it up and one day your "trolling" attempts might not be painfully obvious. |

| Emulation is not illegal. Acquiring a BIOS dump and ROM might be illegal but emulation is not illegal, if emulation was illegal then how could sony allow PS3 to emulate PS1 games? |

MGS as a series can almost be completely emulated.
Halo 1 and 2 are on PC, along with the spin-off + Halo 3 is soon coming to PC.
And Bungie is thinking of bringing Destiny to PC. |

| the only logical reason to play on consoles is if you prefer the exclusives and are morally opposed to emulation (i'm not, as long as i'm doing it because it's the only accessible way to play the game and not because i'm too cheap to buy the actual game). |

most people get consoles because their friends have them.

If you invited a friend over to your house would you play pc alone? or splitscreen on a console with friends?

my friend's a casual gamer and plays MMOs and a few indies, all on pc problem is she knows nothing about computers and bought a laptop with integrated graphics (it sounds like her processor's good, but she's under the impression that there's "only one i5"). |

@Brendon "If you invited a friend over to your house would you play pc alone? or splitscreen on a console with friends?"
I'd fetch 4 Xbox 360 or PS3 (if they make those) Wired controllers and plug them in to the USB port.
