Thousands upon thousands of gods have been worshiped.
So if all of these gods are deemed to be not real, despite having documents written about them, then why is the Christian god any different? |

Because many of the truths that we so desperately cling to are ENTIRELY depending on our own point of view.

| I'm not trying to be religious or anything, and I do believe that there is a god out there, yet I also believe that someone from a different planet came here and did some stuff that a lot of people are refusing to believe or trying to cover up. |

Just because there is one "head god" doesn't mean that the other lesser gods aren't worshiped (i.e. Greek gods).
Second, that goes against Christianity. There is only one Christian god that is to be worshipped, and then angels are "messengers", from what I've gathered. |

There may be one or more beings that exist as gods, there is something there, yet some of that is people seeing U.F.O's back in the Ancient Day's, and they thought they were gods because of flight and other reasons.

YOU'VE BROUGHT THIS UPON YOURSELF!
Have you ever taken biology? Have you ever looked at the immense, mind boggling complexity of the human body? Have you ever heard of the hubble space explorer and heard of the billions of galaxies it has discovered? Now, do you honestly believe that all that was made up from nothing? Do you think that all of life, the enormous ecosystem, the immense diversity and complexity of each different organism and diversity of each species, and these billions of different unique galaxies were made by some random "big bang"? No. There must have been some omnipotent architect that made up this vast, complex universe.
(Yes, I used a lot of question marks)
(I'll prove Christianity is boss in the next post due to this being so big) |

@Masterkrux
Not quite.
Aha? So 'god did it11'? Well, if you insist on putting god into THAT gap, then may I counter with my assertion that the universe was actually created by a extra extraterrestrial named Ted who accidentally blew up his apartment in an attempt to make coke.
You have your unsubstantial theories.
We have ours.

You can't say that all the gods have a "head god" that's a sodding cop out.

(Continuing my other post due to it being so long)
I will support the belief that the Christian God is real by first proving why the Christian Bible is true. You see, the Bible is true because you could look at any event that was recorded in the Bible in ancient history and find it in many other ancient documents and records that recorded the exact events that happened. For example, almost every culture has a story reffering to a "world wide flood", just like the Bible has the story of Noah. Another example is when right after it talks about Jesus' death in the Bible, it says that there was a devastating earthquake right after Jesus breathed his last and you can find the same devastating earthquake in other ancient Isreali records. Another example is right after Jesus' death as well. The Bible describes that the Shroud in the jewish temple being torn from above. You can also find that exact event happening recorded in the Jewish culture. Another example is when Elisha (I think that was his name) prayed for a famine and drought over a certain nation because they were wicked in God's sight. You could find this event in exact detail in any other ancient document like the dead sea scrolls or the Gilgamesh tablets. Those are only some of the examples.
(I will stop now due to such another long post) |

Biology professors love to point out the complexity of organisms and cells, but in no way does that complexity somehow point to a third party creator. It's within human nature, if you don't know how or what something is, to assume that something greater and more complex must have created it.
If something complex has an architect then surely the architect would have to be more complex than its creation. This would mean that the designer must also have a creator, thus leading to an infinite series of creators.
Also, Darwin’s theory of evolution was that complex animals and plants can be produced through generation by less complex animals and plants. These plants and animals can be shown to be derived from a process where complex things came from inorganic matter. |

Ok, Here's how it is.
Humans can't understand something, Humans don't like that. Humans make up an answer to the thing they don't understand, Until a better one comes along.
Ok, So far Religion and Science and the best solutions we've come up with. Religion because it just answers any question you fire at it with "God works in mysterious ways
And Science, That answers far less questions than Religion, But actually shows some though process.

@Zegions
Well, since biology proffesors cannot explain a tangable theory on how the world works began yet, I will continue to believe in God.
Reffer to my second post for your second paragraph.
For your third paragraph, please show me the theory than an inanimate object can turn into a living organsim. |
