SS,
As the name suggests, this is a forum dedicated to reforming the behaviour and attitude of the group. Since I joined as a Diplomat a few months ago until now as a Centurion, I have noticed many disturbing issues with behaviour, most of which in our own HR's. I'm here to tell you that this will be the end of it, for good. I will breakdown this forum into different sections describing each one in detail.
Traits all SS Soldiers should have and practice:
-Loyalty: Undying dedication to the group and the leader, no matter who that leader may be or how often it changes.
-Strength: Not just in means of skill with a gun or sword but mental strength as well. Knowing when and when not to act silly and how far it takes until you crack under pressure. As your rank increases, this should also increase.
-Kindness: All SS soldiers, regardless of rank, should be kind to one another. We are a brotherhood which means we act like a family and should treat each other as such.
-Immovable: No matter who we're up against, or how strong they may seem, we will not falter. We stand as one, under one goal, and one army.
-Trustworthy: All members, HR's especially, should be trustworthy. If you are not then how do you expect others to follow your lead?
-Obedient: Obey all orders the second they're given without hesitation. Even if it's one you would disagree with, carry out the order and talk with the commanding officer after the event in private.
-Brave: No matter what happens or who we face off against, no SS soldier will leave their post in a raid or defence. You're there to bring honor to your group and to not run away with your tails between your legs because you got killed one time.
The above traits should be in the heart and spirit of all members daily, always being upheld, never being forgotten. Keep these in mind as you work your way up the ladder of leadership and do your best to spread their teachings to the generations that follow.
HR Behavior:
Most of you don't know me, I basically came out of nowhere, however to fill you in here's a bit of my background...
I started in TRA and worked my way up to Major fairly quickly. It was then that I saw all the corruption that had snuck its way into the hearts of many of the HR's. The LR's were being unfairly treated so I stepped in a defended them. I got the LR's the respect they weren't getting yet earned however at the risk of my own membership in the group.
After that I found my way to NEA where I made it to 5 star general, again fairly quickly. Complications arose and I was forced out by a member who deceived the entire group. As time passed so did my wisdom and knowledge of leadership grow. I began to see corruption in many groups, the real leaders who hid behind a mask of lies in front of their own creations. I joined back to NEA after the deceiving member was exiled himself and worked my way back up to General. It was then that I saw the leader CaptainAndy was, only little too late, and I was exiled for false reasoning's.
In between my NEA career I found my way to APN. That was a group I finally saw little to no corruption in. Strict trainings, discipline, strong bonds with the members and allies, it was the group I was looking for. I did my best and worked hard until I made it to Admiral about a year after I joined and I continue to spread my teachings, experiences, and knowledge throughout APN to this day doing my best to make sure the past is not repeated.
Now that you know a bit more about me and what I went through, I hope you can take this next part more to heart and understand a bit more about what I'm going to say.
As a HR it is your job, no, your obligation to make sure that you help grow the group into a better one than when you arrived. Groups can only improve if you A) Don't let it regress B) Turn it into a better one than when you arrived yourself. The following behaviour is what I've been witnessing in our HR's lately:
-Immense AA during trainings. AA does not only include flinging other members or other Admins during instruction but also unnecessary use of :dog, :cape, :disco, :seizure, etc. etc. These actions take focus away from the trainings and hurts us more than helps us. If you want to act like a child and play with admin, do it in your own place, but leave the trainings alone and let us try and increase our skills.
-Disrespecting/Not listening to whoever is in charge. It doesn't matter if you are a higher rank than them, you set an example for the lower ranks that are there and listen to the one in charge. Cloudruin was at the training today yet did he take over or act like a moron? For those of you who were there, no. He calmly stood in line, participated in the activities, and helped keep others under control by example instead of force.
Metin88, yes I am calling you out, you need to start learning to act like your rank. oblowTHEfourth was decent and respectful until you came to the training. After that it was like he was a different person. You continually ignored the STS command and continually stood on Ob's head setting a very bad example for the LR that was there at the training.
As a HR it is your job to make sure you help SS as much as it can be, not take it down with you in an ocean of idiotic behaviour. I can tell you this right now, I'm not going to let SS become a group that is filled with AA disrespecting HR's so I would suggest you shape up and join the rest of us in the reformation.
Trainings:
During trainings there are two groups of people. Trainers and trainees. Below are the jobs for each group:
Trainees-
-Wear uniform (does not include a variation, wear the official black only one.) -Listen to orders -Fight your best -Heighten your skills -Don't talk unless told (personally, this includes asking 'PTS,' if you want to say something ask after instruction and don't interrupt.) -Don't run around aimlessly when told to line up. -If you're going to leave or go afk don't be obnoxious. Simply say 'Bye' if you leave and 'Afk' if you go Afk. You're not a rock star so don't act like one with everything you do. -Not ask for promotions. You get promoted when you get promoted. Trainings aren't for promotions, they're for heightening your skills and increasing our ability to fight as a team.
Trainers-
-Wear uniform (does not include a variation, wear the official black only one.) -Not be a dictator -Not use :m for every statement you're saying. If things are out of control, fine use :m to gain control, but if people are standing in line silent just talk normally. Spamming :m is annoying and often times I just leave when that happens. -Respect all Trainees -Do more activities that increases obedience and discipline. Sword skills are good but what good are fighting skills if they're in the hands of soldiers who refuse to listen?
Whether you're a trainer or a trainee, I hope you can learn these different tasks and make trainings even more productive than they are now.
Overall Behavior. I.E On the wall, in game, etc.:
-Do NOT flame! I've told APN this numerous times and now I'm telling you. SS will not be a group that flames other groups, enemy or not. We respect all groups no matter what they may say about us themselves. On the wall, in TC, in regular chat, flame will not escape your thoughts.
-Respect all HR's.
-Respect all LR's.
The above two cannot exist without the other. Here's a quote I use to describe what I mean.
"Leaders are nothing without their followers just as followers are nothing without their leaders."
-Obey all orders when given.
-Not act like children if you're a HR. Off duty is when we can fool around, on duty is when we work.
This forum is intended to help SS reform themselves behaviour wise. There will still be many forums to come with other areas but this was the biggest situation I've seen lately. I hope you all take the time to read this, long I know but it needs to be read.
The future of SS lies in your hands, not just Cloud's. As mentioned, we are a brotherhood which means we work as a team in all areas, fighting and group structure to name just two.
Let's work hard to make this group better than when we arrived ourselves. If we keep this in mind then there will be only one direction we can go and that, my fellow brethren, is up. To quote myself from a forum story I wrote, this is a new dawn so let's make it a good one!
