roblox studio, tools, test, play solo (F6), insert http://www.roblox.com/Character-Animation-Remover-item?id=118646791, players, player1, character appearance, change the character id to the id of the other user, reset character, workspace, player1, archivable should be checked, copy the player1, go to studio mode window, paste the character.
if you want: use the unlock tool to unlock the character, use the anchor tool to anchor the character. enjoy.

Open up studio. Go in edit mode in a place. Go to Test>PlaySolo or press F6 (keyboard shortcut) when in the new mode, go into the explorer (open in View>explorer if not opened) and in there go to "Players", open the tab and click on "Player1". Go in the properties box (view>properties of not opened) and looked for something named "CharacterAppearence (Player1 must be selected in the explorer). In the link thing there, change the character id in there to the person you want to be. Leave the game id alone. Reset in playsolo. Go into the workspace (not the players) and find Player1. With that selected, go into properties and look for a check box named "Archivable". Tick it off. You can now copy, paste, and upload as a model now.
