“Next!” called God.
A young woman with flowing black hair walked up to His desk. Something had hardened her features, and a fire burned in her brown eyes, God noticed.
“Name, please.”
“Mausam Patel, sir.”
“Hmm.” God shuffled through some papers. “Tell me about yourself.”
Mausam relaxed slightly. “I was born in Malawi. My parents were relief workers, helping victims of malaria and civil war. I began helping them as soon as I could walk, doing small chores. Mostly I would follow them around, visiting patients. Growing up there I learned the language quickly and would talk to the other children who were suffering from disease. I was just eight when I watched one boy die. He would not be the last. For many, my voice was the last they ever heard.”
“Uh huh,” said God.
“I continued relief work for the next decade and a half of my life. It was the only thing I knew to do. There were always so many. I would have continued, if it hadn’t been for—for—“ Mausam faltered.
Something popped up on God’s computer screen. He paused.
Mausam was doing her best to keep her resolve, but her efforts were clearly failing. “For—we were just—it was night—there was a raid, I didn’t know… They wanted our supplies, but I wouldn’t give them any. The children—the children needed them, I said. So they—they—they…”
“Uh huh, very tragic, very tragic… but it says here you never accepted Jesus?”
“E-excuse me?” Mausam wiped her eyes.
“I can’t let you into heaven unless you believe in our Lord Jesus Christ. Didn’t you read the Bible? ‘He that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God,’ and all that nice stuff,” said God.
Mausam was taken aback. “My parents were Hindu, but never had time even for their own religion, sir. Nobody introduced me to this Jesus Christ.”
“Sounds like a personal problem,” mumbled God.
“Please sir, I spent my life helping these children…there were so many…so many…we tried…” Mausam was pleading now.
God shuffled some more papers. “Well, I hereby condemn you to burn in Hell for all of eternity.”
“What!? Please sir, I have done nothing but good…please…”
“Malaria victims are less important than Jesus Christ, sorry. Next!” called God.

Sinii, remember that mining accident that happened? They sent in a rescue team bundled into a couple of wires. I bet you got jealous when they dug out a survivor.
Because, none of your friends ever applauded you when you dug out a miner. |

| The real miner digger is the one who accuses others so he can draw attention away from him. |

| It was a good story. But I prefer non-fiction stories from the Bible and Quran. |

Its funny how people act as if it is the Christians who are hypocritical.
We believe this will happen, and we want to save as many lives as possible, so we start mass-missions around the world, to try to convert people to Christ. We love people, and don't want this to be the fate of anyone.
Yet somehow, we are being unloving by sharing our religion with others. Interesting, isn't it?
God gives people many chances. One of these include that if a child dies, and is too young to understand Christianity, it is saved, as long as even one of the parents/step parent are Christian.
This conclusion is not Biblical, and when I am finishing reading the Bible through for a second time, I will write a response, specifically for this scenario.
Dang jbg, you always have the hardest questions! ;D |

| Quran [17:15]: Allah (swt) says, He will not punish those, to whom He has not sent any messenger (to warn him). |
