++Updated++ All sailors must read this thread in order to know what to do in trainings. If you do not read this, then you may be told to step out of line by a Commanding Officer. These are the commands you must follow.
Face- Turn 90 degrees to the angle the Hr wants. About face- Turn around If you are facing left. And the HR says "Right face". You do not face right. You then face back forwards. And vis versa for other faces. Inclines are the same as faces but you turn 45 degrees to the desired angle.
Skirmish Line- All men space out with around 2 men worth of distance between them. Men also kneel and present arms. This is to be hidden and to avoid cannon fire.
Marching Line- This is a line of men, one behind the other. They follow the HR. Shoulder arms are required.
Clearing Procedure- When a HR calls this out. The men of his/her company will each go different ways and go into the buildings around them. If there are no enemies, they will shout "Clear".
Ripple fire- When one soldier Fires after another, like a Mexican wave. Ranked Volley-When two ranks/lines of Soldiers fire at different times. Volley- When all the soldiers in a company fire at the same time.
After all these firing drills. Do not reload unless the HR in command has said Reload at will. If not, you wait for the HR to say "Reload".
Bayonet Charge- After the order to fix bayonets, the HR will order you to "Charge!". This is when you charge forwards with your bayonet at the enemy. Before you charge. You must say "HUZZAH!". This should be typed before you charge, just after the command to fix bayonets is given. This is to scare the enemy.
Good luck out there. Lord Daft of Wales. |
