Here is a completely fake dilemma that I made up to prove a point: >>TL;DR WARNING<<
Bob: "Oh hey Joe, I want to get this cool star themed shirt on a website."
Joe: "Cool, where is it?"
Bob: "Its on this awesome website, I'll send you a link."
Joe: "NO WAIT, you can't, Roblox doesn't allow offsite links."
Bob: "Okay, go to the website Shirts Online."
Joe: "Theres like 50 different cool online shirt websites using the same name."
[10 minutes later of trying to find the correct website]
Joe: "FINALLY found it, now how do I find the shirt?"
Bob: "Theres actually no search engine, so you have to scroll to page 47 I think. Just look for a star themed shirt."
[20 minutes later of trying to find the shirt]
Joe: "Finally found it... now what?"
Bob: "Do you think I should buy it?"
Joe: " Uh, sure."
Bob: "Okay thanks, bye."
Joe: "..."
POINT IS, about 30 minutes would be saved if links were allowed. |

@SirfKing12
Roblox can use black-censor programs to prevent certain website link threads. |

Unless they get link admins, ROBLOX would rather not deal with offsite links.
What if it is an automatic download of a virus?
Sure, thats just one link, MOST of them are clean, but it only takes one.

Some guy says to you: "LOL I have an inappropriate account on [website name here but not URL]!!!"
According to Roblox rules, this is both allowed and not allowed at the same time (see below).
Rule broken: Inappropriate content seen by other users
Rule NOT broken: Linking to unauthorized websites |

when you are suing someone, you ave to make sure you suing them for the right thing.
in life, rule such as the law can be avoided because it comes under something else.
example hitting someone, assault / self defence your breaking a law in this case assault but your not breaking the law because it is self defence and so in conclusion.
posting a website name is like hitting someone in self defence but posting an offsite link is pure assault. |

There is a clear line between DEFENSE and OFFENSE. |

How is this a rule not broken?
The only website that are allowed are Youtube and sometimes Twitter. |

Yeah, Roblox says that telling someone your other website and other user is allowed but for some reason linking them isn't. |

Thats a bit different.
I thought you meant linking them is, but isn't at the same time. |
