I have this script for a projectI'm working on for a light beam thing But I want to have it where it does what its supposed to but stays in one posistion and doesnt move it's a daytime cycle tihing that affects a lgiht beam window thing I made but the problem is I can't have it like stay at start and like begin but like not change time of day or its posistion: local light = game.Lighting

You have a light.
You're changing the time of day.

| ya its a light beam and in order for it to work the time of day needs ot be changed cause it works based on suns posistion... |

| I want the light to work and all but I dont want the time of day to change... basically keep it at the same time but let the light still do its thing |

| No the light needs to be fooled and think the time of day is changing so it still works but I want to maintain the same time of day... |

So don't change the time of day. Just have a set minutes variable in the script that you increment as if it were time of day, but it's NOT time of day.
If I knew what you wanted I could help you out, but all you've given me is that you have a light that does SOMETHING.

He wants the exact opposite. He wants the light to be affected by time change, but not actually change the time.

Hmm you could change the server lighting for the light and then use local lighting to make the user think its staying the same time.

NO I WANT THE LIGHT TO BE MANIPULATED SO THAT IT IS TRICKED INTO THINKING THE TIME OF DAY IS CHANGING WHEN ITS REALLY NOT I NEED THIS BECAUSE THE LIGHT WORKS BASED ON TIME OF DAY AND I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT SCRIPTING AND OMG CAPS XD
