1. The nature of groups. 2. The solution to the problems groups presently face. 3. Schematics for Premier 4. General specifications for Premier 5. Characteristics unique to Premier and the Master Plan 6. Stabilizing rules for Premier.
1. Groups are similar to cells. Groups, at least the modestly successful ones, tend to grow in size. However, like cells, their growth cannot be unrestrained forever. Cells have a certain area to volume ratio in which they thrive, the same can be said of groups. When a cells grows too large, it cannot continue to get nutrients, and cannot continue life functions. It dies, in essence.
However, groups are not like cells in that regard. Whereas cells simply die, groups simply contract. While a group is growing, it will seem great, and will preform very well. However, after it reaches a certain point it won’t be able to maintain that growth. Certain vital members will get frustrated and then leave the group, usually resulting in a contraction within the group and a decline in the group itself, both in active, skilled members, and activity.
Then, of course, the group contracts to a size where it can then begin growing again, and proceeds to repeat the process, though often times the severity of the contractions and the expansions vary. You can probably think of numerous examples of this occurring. A specific example of this occurring would be just about every successful group ever.
2. Cells, have developed a solution to this. When the cell becomes too large, it conducts mitosis. It divides into two smaller cells, who are in no danger of overexpansion. However, they remain part of the same body, the same multicellular organism. This example is one that groups should strive to copy.
Similar to cells, the simplest solution for groups is to simply divide into smaller groups, still united in most ways, but different entities. This ultimately solves the problem of achieving too great a size to be maintained. However, most groups are blind to this fact, or incapable of preforming it. Many are both. Most groups, as in almost all of them, aren’t capable of dividing in a way that’s stable or beneficial for them. It would be comparable to dividing a human instead of a cell.
3. Premier is unique in that is was designed around the principle mentioned above. It is designed to divide when it gets too large, though perhaps “divide” isn’t the correct term for it. It will simply have new branches opened every time we exceed a certain number of people. Early on, new branches will be created with less members than later on.
For example, if we set the limit at fifty people, then when all of the branches already open reach this number, and new branch will be added. Then, the number required for a new group to open would then increase, until a certain point.
4. Any and all specifications as to the future of Premier and the Master Plan that are not aforementioned will remain general, to allow Premier to adapt as time passes. It’s certain, however, that Premier will remain an organization of groups all directly answering to the main body of Premier, run by Supervisors and the Director.
That being said, they are designed to have a great deal of variation. Some branches will be quite carefree, others will possibly be pseudo-Vaktovian in their discipline and maturity. The idea would ultimately be that we put the ones who prefer non-strict groups in the branches that match that description, and the ones that prefer discipline in the branches that posses that.
5. The series of groups that compose Premier give it a level of flexibility that’s nearly impossible to maintain in other groups. For example, Premier I can be ordered to raid the enemy, Premier II can be ordered to defend, Premier III can be ordered to defend an ally, and Premier IV can be told to do whatever they want. Naturally, these assignments would be handed down from the Supervisors or myself. These assignments would vary on a weekly basis, to prevent one or two branches constantly being assigned the same work.
Any person that has a conflict with someone else in their branch can simply be transferred to another branch. Premier is designed to be something akin to one giant group made out of many smaller groups, thereby receiving the advantages of both.
6. Presently, any established division can draft whoever they wish provided the person that they’re drafting wishes to be in their group, and is in the main body of Premier.
The characteristics of the divisions should be explained to a person who is planning on joining Premier, so as to prevent them from being assigned to a division where they don’t quite match the atmosphere.
I, as the Director of the group, plan on directing, the same way that Supervisors plan on supervising, and that Commanders are to do the Commanding. The High Command should generally try to refrain from interfering in the affairs of the branches, unless it’s unquestionably needed.
The branches shouldn’t interfere with each other.
I pass the general plans onto the Supervisors, the supervisors pass the specifics of what they want each division to do for that week to the divisions, the Commanders have the division do so.
What the divisions do, where they train, where they goof off, how they train, how they goof off, is up to the division itself. The High Command really should try to not care about this aspect, as long as it isn’t blatantly damaging to Premier. Again, if the trainings or events are unpopular, it’ll probably just cause people to switch divisions. Keeping them enjoyable for the members of your division would be advantageous to everyone. |

skimmed through
still confusing as hell
but i sort of understand
it seems like you aim to break and divide your group into many other groups after each group hits a limit
like a cell multiplying or something |

| I don't remember 360 quitting, in the same way that I don't remember him owning me at sfing. But, hey, I guess you get delusions of grandeur by not dueling someone. |

| Prof, you figured it out, though it's really more of a form of controlling growth. |
