-{Story}- ----------------------------------------------- In the world of Pokémon, there are two different "dimensions," if you'd like to call them that. One of these "dimensions" consists of Trainers who capture, train, battle, breed, and more with their Pokémon. The second "dimension" is full of only Pokémon, who form Rescue Teams, these Pokémon explore Mystery Dungeons and retrieve items and rescue lost Pokémon. Some other Pokémon run things like shops or restaurants, and live in towns like how a human would. Also, a human could enter this dimension, if they somehow are turned into a Pokémon, they can be transferred to this dimension. This one of many tales takes place in the second dimension, or the "Mystery Dungeon Dimension," you could call it.
As you know, there are Rescue Teams that are formed by two or more Pokémon that work for the Rescue Team Guild. But what you probably didn't know, is that there is a second guild, the Mystery Team Guild. What's a Mystery Team, you may ask? I guess you could say it's a higher ranking of the Rescue Team Guide. Some of the experienced teams of the Rescue Team Guild get transferred to the Mystery Team Guild, where they are allow to keep more of the profits earned by saving Pokémon and such. They also aren't as strict, as they expect you to know when to wake up and such. But, as bad things happen now and then, somebody barged in.
This "somebody" was an Absol, nothing unusual about him. But as soon as this Absol charged in, chaos ocurred. The Absol constantly shot Shadow Ball attacks at all the Pokémon, but they made the Pokémon fall asleep, and gave them nightmares, a strange effect. After the Guildmaster of the Mystery Team Guild, a Salamence, got rid of the Absol, the Absol said something odd, "Getting rid of one determined to get what they want will only make them come back stronger than last time." Nobody even knew what that meant.
This Absol constantly came back, seemingly to get stronger every time he returned, making the new defenses set up to keep this Absol out seem useless. The whole guild eventually got tired of this Absol constantly attacking, so a single Rattata stood up the next time the Absol attacked, and used Bite.
Before the Absol left, he said a simple phrase that the guide could actually understand, "You shouldn't have done that to me." After that phrase, the whole guild called this Absol "Nightmare," as this Absol was almost a living nightmare... and that Shadow Ball attack that puts Pokémon to sleep and gives them nightmares. On a topic relating to that odd Shadow Ball attack, people are calling it "Nightmare Ball," which is odd, because Absols can't learn Nightmare, but the attack strangely has similar effects.
Nightmare, remembering what that idiotic Rattata had done, searched for more members to join him, in order to form a team to protect himself incase a stronger Pokémon attacked him.. Nightmare searched in many locations around the world, and found two suitable members to be part of his team. One member was a Haunter, nearly able to evolve into a Gengar, who was found in Phantom Forest. The second member, actually was an egg, which was found near the summit of Black Mountain.
After a quick meeting in Nightmare's "den," which thanks to the help of the Haunter was now either a HUGE den, or a small cave, the two decided to form a team, and keep the egg in case it could grow into a vital member of the team. The name they came up with? Team Nightmare. Team Nightmare has two goals, but they go together as one. The first goal is to take control of the Mystery Team Guild, and from there, their second goal is to summon Darkrai, and use his power take control of the rest of the world.
Nightmare and his team, obviously, has to be stopped before they can control the Mystery Team Guild, and eventually the world. D o you have what it takes to stop them, or do you have a heart of pure evil and have what it takes to join them? The choice is yours.
-{Rules}- -----------------------------------------------
These rules are to be followed in order to stay in this roleplay. If you do not follow these rules, you will either get a warning, or banned from this thread right on the spot.
1. No godmodding, which means you are not allowed to be invincible, untouchable, instantly defeat everything, ect. This is the most basic rule and failure to follow this rule will end with a ban from this thread. 2. This goes with godmodding, more or less, but no being perfect. Your character is required to have at least a couple of flaws. 3. ROBLOX rules apply, of course. 4. Whatever an admin says, goes, unless I say otherwise. 5. No flaming, trolling, spamming, advertising, or anything of the sort. 6. No feeding the trolls, as in don't respond to them. It'll only make them want more. 7. Put "Pokémon Mystery Dungeon" in your CS to prove you read the rules so far. 8. Be realistic, which means you can't fall and not take damage, have a level 1 Pokémon defeat a level 90 Pokémon, ect. 9. No killing. Period. I don't care if it's another player or an NPC. Even if somebody says you can kill one of their characters. 10. Only admins may be legendaries. 11. You may control if a move hits or misses, but if it gets out of hand, I will decide if a move hits or not. 12. There is only one type of role playing, and it is this: Name Actions, dialog, ect. When done, it should look like this: Daniel I looked at the big fish I caught. "Wow, this is a big one!" I say, then release the fish back into the water. 13. Change "Pokémon Mystery Dungeon" to "Pokémon Mystery Team Guild" if you read this far. 14. If you create a Rescue or Mystery Team, you must use the Team Character Sheet. 15. You may learn up to 10 moves at a time.
-{Character Sheets}- -----------------------------------------------
These sheets are required to be filled out in order to create a character or a team. Once you copy and paste these, then fill them out, I will either accept or decline them. If you are accepted, you may start roleplaying. If you are declined, you can try again or you may leave the thread if you wish. You may not troll or whine if you are declined.

Dustin, I'm sorry, but declined.
For two reasons:
1. Not enough personalities
2. You can't just say that Team Nightmare kidnapped Dustin and turned him evil.
If you fix those, you're be happily accepted. |

Night, you're accepted. And thank you, Josh. I know Pokémon role plays are overused, I just seem to be better at writing Pokémon threads than any other threads.
