I think there should be a rent button in the 'Trade System' where a player can rent an item from another player.
How it will work;
Player1: Ooh, this guy has a darkheart! Maybe I can rent it from him. (Sends rent request.)
Player 2: *Sees rent request* (Notification comes up in messages) Looks at rent request. (There are buttons edit request, or accept request. & How long you will allow renting for.) (Editing request will allow you to add a robux or ticket fee, so if the player would like robux from the rent or tickets, they put how much robux they want for example 350R$ (Also the player may pick how long the player can rent for, so the choices are 1 - 10 hours, or 1 - 7 days.) (Also, a player can make the 'rent' free so no currency is involved)
Player2: *Finishes editing request, accepts* (A new edited trade request is sent to Player1)
Player1: *Sees new trade request, sees the fee, agrees and accepts trade, then he has it for a day*
Player2: *Recieves currency, darkheart is left and moved to players1 Inventory*
*A day passes or whatever the expiration date was*
Player2: Receives back darkheart.
It's simple, RS has a system like this, and it works also, because of this "Roblox Economy" a tax fee is taken out of the currency (like when you sell a hat/gear)
:P

| So the item wouldn't be physically available for the original player in that limited time, yeah sounds like a good idea...but it can be easily abused. |

> Yes, you get your item back when the expiration day the player chose expires. I don't think it can be simply abused until we really see it, toggling around with it may help it. |

@Broken, no. It's not set-up like that, if a player does try to sell it than it will say "Oops, sorry you cannot sell another players item!" or it'll bring you to error page redirecting you.
On RS if you rent something for a certain time and try selling it you cannot, the item has a red circle on it showing that it is a trading item, so players cannot sell it as well. I'm pretty sure it's not hard to code an error page or something that wont allow players to sell it, there could be a red timer icon on the object to show it's rental and it shows you cannot sell it as it wont work.
Sorry I forgot to add that part in. |

this is actually a pretty good idea
exploiters could probably find a way around it though, a way to keep the "rented" item

| @Ak, it cannot be traded away, there is a timer icon showing it that it's a rental item, there will be no way to trade it away. |
