| The market fee drives prices up and prevents people from making a profit. |

driving the prices up is what makes the profit.
basically what you're saying is "oh lets remove market place fees on limiteds so i can get MY limited I want and then I can sell for a higher price yippeeeeee"
even so
the prices will still skyrocket, mainly because no marketplace fee = more profit, and the higher the price is = more profit.

Remove market fee on everything. You get a higher profit, and when someone wants to donate Lets say 750 r$ you only get about 500 And that is MIGHTY stupid. And with limiteds, most of the time you LOOSE profit. Becuase you buy for 7k sell for 8k (because you waited for it to raise) and you only get 6k.

that's called business.
roblox is aiming for a realistic economy, and the marketplace fee makes it more realistic.

How the heck does marketplace fee make it more realistic?
Do you see a market fee in real? No.
I support this idea.

there are taxes in real life kiddo
the marketplace fee is a tax, and in real life there are taxes on almost everything you can purchase.

Taxes. Yes.
Not a random marketplace fee.
Scenario:
You: "Hey, want to buy some sweets?"
Your friend: "Sure. How much?"
You: "30 cents" _____________________
Where in that does a randomer come up to you and demand market fee? Never. |

@Jackudy3 Every thing you or anyone else buys in RL is based off taxes no matter where you live. Stores charge taxes so the price of the things are higher so they profit. Shipped products have a shipping tax, imported or exported products have a tax. Roblox is simply trying to educate people on the tax system. Also the marketplace fee helps the inflation problem. |

| Even on selling access, the marketplace fee is 90% so if you sell for 999 you get $100. Even in real life however the tax isn't 90%! |

**is one year and 6 months late to this party** Its more realistic because of how Roblox is set up. There is an infinite amount of robux and tix being generated. Because Roblox has to pay BC every day, give people the logging-in tix bonus, and because you get a tix every time someone comes to your game, infinite money is generated. They need a way to severely limit the amount of money being thrown around any way they can. This comes in form of money traps (like selling all the clothes and everything in the shop), and having steep taxes. Otherwise, the people who have OBC for a few years and get tons of robux inflate everything to near nothingness, while people newer to the game can't get anything because prices are too high. You need a way to make money just disappear from the game, by giving it back to the server, instead of thrown around between players. Another issue tied tot his is the fact that there is no cost of living. You don't NEED to really buy anything like food, mortgage/rent, and any other payment like in real life. There is no way to keep a profit in check, and it becomes much easier to just sit there with a ton of money, then reach that point where it's useless because there's nothing to really spend money on. Another reason they need a steep tax on, say, a gamepass, so that way it keeps player profit down. Video game economies are though to manage because you need to control supply and demand even more (not so much here, but look at runescape. A few grapes are worth more than a bar of gold, because its a lot harder to get grapes. Also, iron is worth more than gold because of the sheer amount of iron desired to make armor, whereas gold has almost no purpose). Depending on the way the game is set up, it can be VERY susceptible to supply and demand, more so than real life. So really, they need ways to make people give money back to the server, and keep it from being profit-oriented from a player's perspective.
...Maybe a full-out lecture on game economies wasn't necessary, but, still. I gave it. |

| can they at least reduce it form 90 to 50? because 90% is a lot of profit lost. that is why i think this game's economy is messed up. [also i lost 40k robux thanks to roblox removing tickets. another reason this economy is messed up] |

I wouldn't say remove it, as this "Market Fee" gives representation on the real-world economy. I see two ways to solve this:
1.) I would recommend ROBLOX either adds a rule that prices must be raised to a point where the seller still makes a profit, even with the Market Fee.
2.) I would recommend ROBLOX decreases the percent tax for Market Fee.
You have a valid point, however.

This would result in Roblox going into debt due to the fact that you would be able to sell your item for a higher price gaining robux meaning Roblox would lose money due to developer exchange.
