| I see someone doesn't like the art of awesomeness. But hey, at least my idea isn't about ZOMBIES. |

Zombies make people puke from the overuse.
I haven't seen many giant mech threads, and it can be done if made correctly, and actually fun.
Because saving the day by destroying half the city you were protecting is fun. |

| Giant mech RPs tend to be fun. I agree with this idea. |

| I was thinking more Code Geass than Gundam. |

| Steampunk mechs can be fun, but again I was thinking Code Geass, as in Mechs a bit taller than an 18 wheeler truck, with assault rifles and wheel feet, zooming about at like 60 MPH. |

@mr
What about Robotech mechs that are the sizes of jets, and can transform into jets? |

| And I dunno, jet-mechs can be fun, but I still enjoy Code Geass since their mechs are very... their mechs are just so COOL. They're acrobatic, but still grounded enough to seem realistic enough that it can have a serious plotline. |

But I was looking into giant mechs. Because they are awesome... And stuff.... And can be unique in some way that strikes interest.
I also have a way of making distinct mechs, and for people to make their own distinct mechs also. Like the ones from Pacific Rim, that all look distinctly different.... And some being from different Classes and Series of production. |

| If we're going for giant mechs, we could use Gundam as inspiration. Gundam isn't half-bad, and it's mechs tend to be the size of skyscrapers. |

I was going for Gundam, but I'm using Pacific Rum since its more recent and people might have heard it.
But anyway, I was thinking of classes and series to add to the mechs, I can give a example if you want. |

| Googled Pacific Rim, the idea seems cool, but the mechs are like three times as large as a Gundam even it seems. |

I know, but they are so cool looking and unique.
But anyway, a example I will give is.... Lets say Cherno Alpha from Pacific Rim. He is a Mark-1 mech, so he is clunky, blocky, and weird looking. If people want to make a robot that looks like that, they can make a Mark-1 mech, and they if they want a more humanoid mech, they can go to the other Mark numbers. See what I'm saying? |

| But what about people who know next-to-nothing about the movie? Are you going to describe it in relative detail? And things about each mark? |

Yep.
Mark-1-2 series would be clunky, while 3 and four would be humanoid, and 5 would be humanoid with extra features and stuff, such as a gun arm, or more than two arms or legs. |
